SSS Miscarriage / ETP Benefit Calculator

Estimate how much SSS benefit you may receive after a miscarriage or emergency termination of pregnancy (ETP), based strictly on past posted SSS contributions.

Important: This calculator applies only to miscarriage / ETP that has already happened. Future dates and future SSS payments do not count.

Step 1: Date of Miscarriage / ETP

Select the year first, then the month. Only past dates are allowed.

Step 2: Enter Your SSS Contributions (Qualifying Period)

Enter either your Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) or contribution amount. Values auto-sync based on the correct SSS rate for that year.

What to Do Next After Miscarriage / ETP (SSS Steps)

Reminder: For miscarriage/ETP, SSS counts posted contributions only inside the qualifying period. Future payments won’t help this claim.
  1. Confirm your posted contributions in My.SSS.
  2. Prepare medical proof (doctor or hospital certificate with date).
  3. File your claim: Employer (if employed) or My.SSS / branch (if voluntary/self‑employed).
  4. Keep copies of your reference number and uploads.

If You Did Not Qualify - What You Can Still Do

Based on the information entered, you do not meet the minimum 3 posted SSS contributions required before the semester of miscarriage / ETP.

Important to know: SSS does not allow retroactive or late payments to qualify for a miscarriage that already happened. Paying now will not change this result.

What You Can Still Consider

  • SSS Sickness Benefit: If you were hospitalized or confined due to the miscarriage, you may still qualify under a different SSS benefit.
  • Future pregnancy preparation: Start contributing early so you qualify next time. Even the minimum 3 months already makes a difference.
  • Review your qualifying period: Some members discover that contributions were posted in a different month than expected.
