SSS – Benefit Processing

Claim Reconsideration

Claim reconsideration is the process where a member requests SSS to review a denied or partially approved claim. Reconsideration allows SSS to re-evaluate the case with new evidence or corrected documents.

Members may file reconsideration when they believe the denial was caused by a misunderstanding, incomplete documents, or incorrect evaluation. Submitting strong supporting documents increases the chances of approval.

Reconsideration must be filed promptly. Delays may require filing a full appeal or submitting a new claim altogether.
