SSS – Employee Compensation

EC Claim

An EC Claim is a formal request filed by an employee or beneficiary to receive benefits under the Employee Compensation Program. Claims may involve medical reimbursement, disability benefits, funeral benefits, or death benefits.

To file, the claimant must submit required documents including medical records, employer reports, and supporting evidence that the condition is work-related. SSS processes EC claims in coordination with ECC regulations.

Properly filing an EC claim ensures that workers or their families receive the financial assistance they are entitled to after work-related harm.
