SSS, PhilHealth & Pag-IBIG (HDMF) Contribution Calculator 2026

Enter your monthly salary to estimate employee deductions, employer counterparts, SSS Mandatory Pension Booster / MPF, and salary after the three mandatory contributions.

For standard private-sector employee payroll estimates. Actual payroll can differ when agency contribution bases or compensation components differ from the salary entered here.

Enter your monthly salary

For most employees, start with monthly basic salary.

Simple mode uses this salary as the estimated base for all three agencies.

Different agencies do not always define compensation the same way. Use these only if you know the separate payroll bases.

SSS employee MSC is based on actual remuneration subject to the contribution schedule.
PhilHealth basic salary excludes items such as overtime, allowances, 13th month pay, bonuses and gratuity payments.

Monthly salary minus employee SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG only. This is not final take-home pay.

How much will SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG deduct from my salary?

The amount depends on the contribution base used by each agency. SSS uses the applicable Monthly Salary Credit, PhilHealth uses its premium rate plus salary floor/ceiling, and Pag-IBIG applies its rate up to the Maximum Fund Salary.

The calculator combines all three and separates the employee deduction from the employer counterpart.

How the SSS contribution is calculated

The current schedule effective January 2025 uses 15% of the applicable MSC: 5% employee and 10% employer.

The current SSS MSC ranges from ₱5,000 to ₱35,000. The calculator maps compensation to the official ₱500 MSC brackets.

Regular SS vs Mandatory Pension Booster / MPF

The Regular SS benefit MSC is capped at ₱20,000. The contribution corresponding to MSC above ₱20,000 up to ₱35,000 is credited to the member's Mandatory Provident Fund account, now called MySSS Pension Booster.

Example: SSS MSC = ₱30,000

  • Regular SS MSC = ₱20,000
  • Mandatory Pension Booster / MPF MSC = ₱10,000
  • Employee SS share = 5% of ₱30,000
  • Employer SS share = 10% of ₱30,000, plus EC

Employees' Compensation

EC is employer-paid: ₱10 for MSC up to ₱14,500 and ₱30 for MSC of ₱15,000 and above.

How the PhilHealth contribution is calculated

  • Premium rate: 5%
  • Income floor: ₱10,000
  • Income ceiling: ₱100,000
  • Standard employed-member split: 50% employee / 50% employer

Example: Monthly basic salary = ₱30,000

Total premium = ₱1,500. Employee = ₱750. Employer = ₱750.

PhilHealth uses monthly basic salary. Official guidance excludes sales commission, overtime, allowances, 13th month pay, bonuses and other gratuity payments from this basic-salary calculation.

How the Pag-IBIG Fund (HDMF) contribution is calculated

Over ₱1,5002%2%

The current Maximum Fund Salary is ₱10,000. A standard employee earning more than ₱10,000 therefore normally has a mandatory employee contribution of ₱200/month, matched by a ₱200 employer counterpart.

Voluntary additional savings are not included in this mandatory payroll estimate.

Employee deduction vs employer contribution

Your payslip should not deduct the entire contribution total because employers also shoulder mandatory counterpart contributions.

Deducted from employee

  • SSS employee share
  • PhilHealth employee share
  • Pag-IBIG employee share

Paid by employer

  • SSS employer share
  • SSS EC
  • PhilHealth employer share
  • Pag-IBIG employer counterpart

Why these contributions matter for salary differential

These employee deductions also matter when estimating maternity salary differential, but that tool has a different intent and remains separate.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Simple mode uses the entered salary for all three. If your payroll uses different contribution bases, enable the advanced option.

SSS first maps compensation to the applicable Monthly Salary Credit bracket. The employee share is 5% of that MSC.

For MSC above PHP 20,000 up to PHP 35,000, contribution corresponding to the excess MSC goes to the member's individual Mandatory Provident Fund account, now called MySSS Pension Booster. This is separate from voluntary Pension Booster savings.

For a standard employed direct contributor, yes: employee and employer share the monthly premium equally. Special categories can have different rules.

Yes. HDMF stands for Home Development Mutual Fund, which is the official name of the Pag-IBIG Fund. This calculator uses “Pag-IBIG” as the primary term because that is the name most members commonly recognize.

Mandatory contribution uses the PHP 10,000 Maximum Fund Salary. At the standard 2% employee rate, that produces a PHP 200 monthly employee contribution.

No. It subtracts only employee SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG. Withholding tax, loans, absences and other deductions are not included.

Calculation limits

This is an independent payroll estimate for a standard private-sector employee. It does not replace official agency or employer payroll records. Special categories, corrections, voluntary savings and employer-specific arrangements can produce different amounts.
