SSS Salary Loan Rejection & Error Checker

Already applied and My.SSS rejected you or showed an error? You do not need to calculate first. Select the sentence that looks like your notification. We will repeat it, explain what it means, and tell you whether you can fix it now or must wait.

Only want to estimate your loan? Skip to the Salary Loan Calculator.

Choose the exact My.SSS sentence or rejection reason whenever it appears in the list. Ignore only personal dates, employer names, or contribution numbers that change from member to member.

Tip: Save a screenshot of the complete My.SSS message before changing anything. The exact wording is more useful than the error code alone when a problem continues.

How to Compute Your SSS Salary Loan Amount

This calculator separates two SSS rules. Eligibility checks whether you have enough total posted contributions and at least 6 posted contributions in the 12 calendar months before filing. The amount estimate then uses your 12 latest actual posted Regular SS MSCs.

Unpaid calendar months are not entered as zero for the amount estimate. If there is a gap, continue farther back in your contribution history until you have 12 actual posted records.

SSS Salary Loan Interest and Service Fee

The result shows the estimated service fee, pro-rated interest, and net proceeds. The service fee and interest can reduce the amount you actually receive compared with the gross loan amount.

What the result separates

  • Estimated loan amount: the gross loan estimate before deductions
  • Estimated net proceeds: the amount after service fee, pro-rated interest, and existing loan balance deduction
  • Monthly amortization: estimated monthly payment for the 24-month term

SSS Salary Loan Amortization Calculator

The calculator estimates your monthly amortization for the 24-month salary loan term using the interest case you select. Your actual payment schedule and effective interest rate still depend on the final SSS disclosure statement, approval date, and applicable charges.

SSS Salary Loan Requirements by Member Type

The basic contribution rules are similar, but the way you enter values may be different depending on your member type.

Voluntary members may be able to apply for SSS salary loan if they meet the total posted contribution requirement and have enough recent posted payments. In the calculator, voluntary members may enter either their MSC or the full contribution paid.

  • 36 total posted contributions may qualify for a 1-month loan
  • 72 total posted contributions may qualify for a 2-month loan
  • At least 6 paid months should appear in the latest 12-month period used by the calculator

Employed members may enter their MSC or employee share from payslip. Do not add the employer share when using the employee share field. If approved, the employer may still need to certify or confirm the salary loan application.

Self-employed members may enter their MSC or full contribution paid. Make sure the latest payments are posted before relying on the estimate.

OFW members may enter their MSC or full contribution paid. If your coverage type changed, check your posted contributions carefully before applying.

Why Your SSS Salary Loan Amount May Be Lower Than Expected

  • Your 12 latest posted Regular SS MSCs may include older, lower-MSC records when there are gaps in recent payments
  • You may have fewer than 12 paid months in the period
  • Your posted MSC may be lower than you assumed
  • Your recent paid months may be enough to qualify, but still not enough to produce a high average MSC
  • Your total MSC may be above ₱20,000 because of MPF, but salary loan uses the Regular SS MSC basis capped at ₱20,000
  • You may have an existing loan balance or other SSS deduction

SSS Salary Loan vs SSS Calamity Loan

Looking for SSS Calamity Loan? Salary loan and calamity loan are different. Calamity loan depends on SSS calamity assistance availability, covered area, and separate rules. Use the SSS Calamity Loan Calculator.

Who Can Apply for SSS Salary Loan?

This calculator checks whether you may qualify by looking at your total posted contributions and the number posted within the 12 calendar months before the application month.

Quick Eligibility Summary

  • 1-month loan: at least 36 total posted contributions
  • 2-month loan: at least 72 total posted contributions
  • Recent eligibility window: at least 6 posted contributions in the 12 calendar months before the application month
  • Loan estimate: based on the 12 latest actual posted Regular SS MSCs, averaged and rounded to the applicable MSC bracket, using the Regular SS basis capped at ₱20,000

What Can Delay or Block an SSS Salary Loan?

If My.SSS already gave you an error or rejection, you do not need to calculate first. Use the Salary Loan Error & Rejection Checker above and select the exact message you received.

1. Not enough total posted contributions

You may not yet meet the minimum 36 total posted contributions for a 1-month loan or 72 total posted contributions for a 2-month loan.

2. Fewer than 6 paid months in the latest 12-month period

Even if your total contributions are enough, you still need at least 6 posted contributions inside the 12 calendar months before the month of filing.

3. Employer certification or disbursement issues

Even if you qualify, processing may slow down due to employer certification, disbursement account problems, or posting issues.

SSS Salary Loan FAQ

This calculator uses 36 total posted contributions for a possible 1-month salary loan and 72 total posted contributions for a possible 2-month salary loan.

You need at least 6 paid months inside the same latest 12-month period used by the calculator.

Your total MSC may show above ₱20,000 because of MPF, but regular SSS salary loan uses the Regular SS MSC basis capped at ₱20,000. This means the estimated maximum gross salary loan is ₱20,000 for a 1-month loan and ₱40,000 for a 2-month loan, before deductions.

Pwede pa ba ako magloan kahit may balance pa ako?

Answer from SSS Calculator Team Jul 26, 2026

On time ang huling 3 monthly amortizations bago ka mag-apply.

Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within July 2025–June 2026 na nabayaran before July 2026. Kung wala, likely hindi qualified.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

Employee Payment / Overdue Loan
Asked by Kenneth · Jul 24, 2026

Qualified Dow ako pero bakit. Mas màbab ang net proceeds or presta the exact errow messss sa my ssd

Answer from SSS Calculator Team Jul 26, 2026

may contribution na hindi counted kasi paid within or after the semester of contingency
may late/not posted contributions
may deduction, adjustment, or previous overpayment

Answer from SSS Calculator Team Jul 26, 2026

Kung may at least 36 posted monthly contributions and at least 6 contributions within the last 12 months, possible ka for 1-month salary loan.
