SSS – Unemployment

Average Monthly Salary Credit for Unemployment

The Average Monthly Salary Credit (AMSC) for unemployment benefit computation is based on the member’s posted contributions during the applicable period. The unemployment benefit equals 50% of the AMSC multiplied by two months.

A higher MSC results in a higher unemployment payout. However, the benefit is capped at a maximum amount set by SSS.
