What payout options does DAEM support?
For maternity benefits released directly through SSS, the benefit is credited to an approved disbursement account enrolled in DAEM. SSS currently recognizes bank accounts, e-wallets and remittance/cash-payout channels for applicable benefit disbursement.
Bank
Select a PESONet Participant Bank in My.SSS.
E-wallet
SSS documentation specifically gives Maya and GCash as examples.
RTC / CPO
Remittance Transfer Companies / Cash Payout Outlets can be selected when offered by My.SSS.
Important: SSS contribution payment channels are not automatically DAEM payout channels. Do not assume that Bayad Center, ECPay, SM or another collection partner can receive your maternity benefit unless that option is actually offered in the current My.SSS DAEM enrollment screen.
Which banks can I use for SSS DAEM?
SSS instructs members to select a PESONet Participant Bank. The banks below appear in the current PESONet participant reference checked for this guide. Always confirm that your bank is still available in the live My.SSS DAEM dropdown before submitting.
Commonly searched banks
MariBank users: MariBank Philippines is the current name of the former SeaBank Philippines. It appears in the current PESONet participant reference. If you still think of it as SeaBank, search for MariBank in the live My.SSS DAEM list.
Reference checked August 17, 2026. PESONet participation and My.SSS dropdown availability can change.
For bank enrollment, the bank account name should match your SSS-registered name. Enter the actual bank account number, not the ATM card number.
Can I use GCash or Maya for SSS maternity DAEM?
GCash and Maya are specifically cited in current SSS guidance as electronic-wallet examples for benefit disbursement. If you choose an e-wallet, confirm that the wallet is currently available in your My.SSS DAEM screen and that the account details match your identity records.
GCash
SSS documentation recognizes GCash as an e-wallet example for benefit disbursement. Check the current DAEM option before enrolling.
Maya
SSS documentation also recognizes Maya as an e-wallet example for benefit disbursement. Check the current DAEM option before enrolling.
Do not assume that every e-wallet that can pay SSS contributions can also receive SSS maternity benefits. Payment and disbursement are separate systems.
What about remittance centers or cash payout outlets?
DAEM includes a category for Remittance and Transfer Companies / Cash Payout Outlets (RTC/CPO). SSS also states that members can receive an electronic notice when an approved benefit is already available for disbursement through a remittance center.
The exact RTC/CPO names can change and SSS does not provide one permanent public list on the maternity page. For that reason, this guide does not pretend that every SSS payment center is also a DAEM payout outlet. The current My.SSS dropdown is the safest final check.
The 2026 SSS Citizen's Charter gives DBP Cash Padala through M Lhuillier as an RTC/CPO example in a benefit re-disbursement context. Treat that as an official example, not a guarantee that it is the only or permanently available RTC/CPO option for every DAEM transaction.
What do I need to enroll a DAEM account?
Requirements can differ slightly by the enrollment route and account type. Follow what My.SSS asks you to upload for the selected option.
1. Proof of account
Current SSS examples include a passbook, ATM card showing account name/number, validated deposit slip, bank certificate/statement, transaction receipt, or screenshot of online/mobile banking or an e-wallet account.
2. Valid government-issued ID
My.SSS may require an accepted government-issued identification card/document with the enrollment.
3. Selfie / identity verification
SSS may require a chest-level selfie holding the ID and applicable proof of account.
Upload a clear image. Cropped, blurred or mismatched account proof can create a verification or rejection issue.
How to enroll a disbursement account in My.SSS
- Log in to your My.SSS account or MySSS mobile app.
- Open Services → Disbursement Account / DAEM.
- Choose Bank or the available E-Wallet / RTC / CPO option.
- Enter the correct account details.
- Upload the requested proof, ID and selfie/verification documents.
- Review every field before submitting.
- Keep the transaction number and wait for the processing result / notification.
Ilang days bago ma-approve ang SSS DAEM?
There is no single approval-day promise that applies to every enrollment. The 2026 SSS Citizen's Charter shows the transaction steps for submitting a DAEM enrollment and gives minute-based processing estimates for those system steps. In the mobile flow, the member is then told to keep the transaction number and await the email result of the uploaded-document processing.
So the useful question is not only “ilang days?” but: What is the exact status — pending, approved, rejected, or requiring correction?
Pending
Enrollment or document result is not yet final. Check My.SSS and registered notifications.
Approved
The account is ready as an approved disbursement route for the applicable SSS process.
Rejected / correction
Fix the exact reason before submitting the same account again.
How DAEM works specifically for SSS maternity benefit
SSS states that maternity benefits are released to the member's or employer's approved DAEM disbursement account. Individual members may enroll up to three disbursement accounts, while employers enroll one.
Once benefit crediting occurs, SSS sends an electronic notification for bank/e-wallet crediting or when the benefit is available through a remittance center. The member can also review disbursement status in My.SSS.
Common DAEM problems and what to check
| Problem | Check first |
|---|---|
| Still pending | Exact My.SSS status, registered email and any correction/result notice. |
| Name mismatch | SSS-registered name versus bank/e-wallet account-holder name. |
| Wrong bank number | Use the actual bank account number, not the ATM card number. |
| Proof rejected | Clarity, complete account details and correct proof type. |
| Unsupported option | Use only a current option actually displayed in My.SSS DAEM. |
| DAEM approved, no maternity payment | Check maternity-claim approval, release and crediting status. |
| Failed crediting | Update/enroll a valid account and use Benefit Re-disbursement when applicable. |
DAEM approved but maternity crediting failed
An approved DAEM account does not guarantee that every attempted credit succeeds. If SSS cannot successfully credit the maternity benefit, current guidance tells the member/employer to update the existing disbursement-account details or enroll a new account, then request Benefit Re-disbursement through My.SSS.

Official-source notes
This guide was updated against current SSS maternity-benefit guidance, the 2026 SSS Citizen's Charter DAEM enrollment process, and the current PESONet participant reference. Because payout providers and My.SSS screens can change, the live My.SSS DAEM dropdown should always be treated as the final availability check.
What should you check next?
DAEM handles the payout route. Qualification, benefit amount and payout timing are separate questions.
