I would like to request clarification regarding my eligibility and estimated amount for my SSS maternity benefit.
My expected delivery date is October 2026. Below is my posted SSS contribution history:
January 2025 – ₱5,250.00
February 2025 – ₱2,175.00
March 2025 – ₱4,200.00
April 2025 – ₱4,050.00
May 2025 – ₱3,675.00
June 2025 – ₱3,675.00
July 2025 – ₱3,450.00
August 2025 – ₱3,450.00
September 2025 – ₱5,250.00
October 2025 – ₱3,900.00
November 2025 – ₱3,675.00
December 2025 – ₱3,225.00
January 2026 – No posted contribution
February 2026 – No posted contribution
March 2026 – No posted contribution
April 2026 – ₱4,050.00
May 2026 – Pending posting
June 2026 – Pending posting
I was separated from my previous employer, which is why I was not able to have contributions posted for January 2026 to March 2026. I started with my new employer in April 2026.
My questions are:
1. Based on my posted contributions and my expected delivery date in October 2026, am I qualified to receive the SSS maternity benefit?
2. Does my missed contribution from January 2026 to March 2026 affect my eligibility for the maternity benefit?
3. Based on my posted contributions, what is my estimated SSS maternity benefit amount?
4.If I am allowed to pay my missed contributions for January 2026, February 2026, and March 2026, will this increase my estimated maternity benefit?
5. My May 2026 and June 2026 contributions are still not reflected. Should I wait for these contributions to b osted before applying for my maternity benefit?
6. Since I am currently employed, will my employer process my SSS maternity benefit claim, or do I need to file any part of the claim directly with SSS?
Hi mommy 😊 Based sa details mo, qualified ka possible.
For EDD October 2026, ang qualifying period mo is July 2025 to June 2026.
Safe note: since June 2026 ang last month ng QP, mas okay kung paid/posted on or before end of June.
Since currently employed ka, HR/current employer usually ang magpo-process ng maternity claim mo. Make sure filed ang MAT-1 before delivery.
You can also ask your employer since lagpas ka sa highes MSC possible meron ka Salary differential na pwede pa makuha sa Employer mo aside sa 70k Matben na manggagaling kay SSS.
