SSS – Contributions

Employee Share

The employee share is the portion of the contribution deducted from the employee's monthly salary. Employers are responsible for subtracting the correct amount based on the employee’s salary bracket and the SSS Contribution Table.

This share forms part of the total SSS contribution and is combined with the employer share when remitted to SSS. Accurate deductions ensure proper benefit computation and prevent contribution gaps.

Employees should review payslips regularly to confirm correct deductions. Incorrect employee shares may lead to under-remittance or over-remittance, affecting future claims and eligibility.
