Employer Registration

Employer registration refers to the mandatory process by which businesses and household employers enroll themselves in the SSS system. Once registered, employers receive an Employer ID number used for remitting contributions and filing mandatory reports.

Without proper registration, employers cannot legally hire employees or remit contributions, exposing themselves to penalties and legal liability. Registration ensures employers fulfill their obligations to protect workers.

Employers must keep their registration details updated, including address, contact information, and authorized representatives, to avoid delays in processing contribution reports or compliance notices.
