Aggregated SSS maternity calculator research
These findings summarize anonymous completed calculator simulations on SSSMaternityBenefitsCalculator.com. They describe calculator-user patterns, not official SSS claims, approvals, payouts, or national statistics.
Main finding
Having six contribution months does not mean maximizing the benefit
These measures are shown together because the relationship between them is more useful than any one number on its own.
Conclusion
48% of the public research cohort had six or more contributed months, but 65% of that group still remained below the applicable maximum. That means only 35% of users with 6+ months reached the maximum estimate. Across the full cohort, 17% reached their case-specific maximum.
What this suggests: the larger gap appears after users have enough months. Six contributed months can fill the six-highest-MSC computation, but the Monthly Salary Credit values of those six months still determine whether the estimate reaches the applicable maximum. This describes calculator users only and does not establish the reason for any individual result.
