Hi mommy 😊 For EDD July 28, 2026, ang qualifying period mo is:

April 2025 to March 2026

So kung gusto i-increase ang SSS maternity benefit, dapat yung higher contributions ay nasa April 2025–March 2026. Since tapos na ang QP, hindi na usually ma-iincrease ngayon by paying new contributions.

Due date safe note: last counted month is March 2026, so dapat paid/posted na siya on or before end of March 2026 para safe.

Ang pwede mong gawin: check My.SSS kung tama at posted lahat ng contributions mo sa QP. If may missing employer contribution, ask HR/SSS to correct it.

EDD Sept. Mi Qualifying Period mo Apr 2025 – Mar 2026 yan dapat po mga months na may hulog ka if wala po hulog atleast 3mons posted contributions under qualifying period hindi po mag qualify.

Yung hulog mo noong 2024 ay hindi counted sa January 2027 maternity, kasi ang qualifying period mo is October 2025 to September 2026.

Kailangan mo ng at least 3 posted contributions within that period. SSS says maternity benefit needs at least 3 contributions in the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth.

Kung Voluntary ka na ngayon, gumawa agad ng PRN sa My.SSS at maghulog ng months na kaya pang bayaran, like April–June 2026, then continue July–September 2026 para mas okay.

Kelan po EDD mi? if EDD is Jan, Feb, March pwede pa po makahabol if Old member ka sa SSS, generate ka PRN for April to Jun Pay mo xa on or before end of June (recommend if EDD is January just incase mapa aga ang delivery to december pasok parin yung april -june contribution if na pay xa on or before end of june)then July to Sept quarterly payment ang due is on or before end of Sept. if voluntary ka pwede mo pay 3k per month for 6 months under QP para ma meet mo yung 70k max matbe (based sa 2026 highes MSC na kina count ni SSS for matben).

Kung January 2027 ang EDD mo, kasama sa qualifying period ang April, May, at June 2026, kaya pwede mong bayaran ang April–June 2026 ng isang bagsakan ngayong last week ng June, as long as allowed sa PRN mo and before the SSS deadline.
Best gawin: gumawa ng PRN sa My.SSS for April–June 2026, then bayaran agad para safe.

Yung May 2026 na binayaran mo noong June 22, 2026 ay pasok pa, kasi ang deadline ng May contribution is usually end of June. Yung June 2026 payment mo, okay din kasi nabayaran mo rin within June.
Since November 2026 ang EDD mo, counted ang May at June 2026 sa qualifying period. Make sure lang na posted na sa SSS account mo at meron kang 3 months posted contribution under Qualifying Period mo since ang requirements po ni SSS para ma qualify ka is atleast 3mons posted contribution

Hi mommy, for EDD August 1, 2026, pasok sa qualifying period ang April 2025 to March 2026. So yes, important yung April–August 2025 contributions mo.

Pwede mo silang kausapin na i-remit nila, pero since late na siya at ngayon lang babayaran, possible na hindi na siya maisama sa maternity computation. Better pumunta or mag-message agad sa SSS and bring proof like payslip/COE showing employed ka and may SSS deduction.

Employer po ang may responsibility kung hindi nila nahulugan on time.

Kung October 2026 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo is July 2025 to June 2026. So kung naghulog ka from March 2026 to June 2026, pasok po iyon, basta paid and posted sa SSS.if hindi pa po kayo bayad generate ka ng 1 PRN for April to Jun tapos pay mo xa on or before end of june or better as early as possible (current month now is june.) Yung hulog from July 2026 onwards, hindi na counted sa maternity computation for October EDD kaya wag mo po xa palipasin or bayaran ng July or lagpas na sa last month ng qualifying period mo.

Since June ka nanganak, ang susundin ni SSS is actual delivery month, not July EDD. So ang qualifying period mo ay usually January–December 2025.

Meaning, yung Oct–Dec 2025 counted, pero yung Jan–Mar 2026 likely hindi na counted. Kung 3 months lang ang counted, eligible ka possible, pero hindi maximum ₱70k.
