Hi mommy 😊 SSS maternity is not refund ng hospital expenses, cash benefit po siya based sa SSS contributions.
Since Jan 21, 2026 ka nanganak, ang qualifying period mo is Oct 2024 to Sept 2025. Need may at least 3 posted contributions sa period na yan. SSS also says OFW/VM members should notify SSS directly, and claims can be filed online through My.SSS.
Steps mommy:

Login sa My.SSS

Enroll your bank/e-wallet sa DAEM

File Maternity Benefit Application

Upload Dubai birth/delivery documents. Since abroad nangyari, foreign documents should have English translation and be authenticated by PH Embassy/Consulate or notarized in the host country.

Kung employed ka during delivery, check muna with HR.

Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 26, 2026

After approval, possible may dagdag pang few banking days bago pumasok sa enrolled disbursement account.

Dapat i-advance ng employer ang full SSS maternity benefit within 30 days from filing of maternity leave application, then sila ang ire-reimburse ni SSS.

Prepare mo mommy ang child’s Certificate of Live Birth / registered birth document, proof/receipt from LCR if newly registered, and make sure active/approved ang Disbursement Account sa My.SSS para walang delay.

OFW - Land-based General Question EDD: June 2026

nakapag bayad ako ng October November at December last year 2025.nabayaran ko ito ng January 15,2026 bilang isang OFW na voluntaryong nag hu2log sa SSS. na denied ng SSS ang maternity benifits ko sa kadahilanang di nadaw ako umabot sa withen or after the semester contingency.nag EDD ko June 20,2026 bilang ofw na ang last or pwde pa bumayad hangang January 31,2026 para sa naka raang buwan na octobre hangang decembre.

Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

Hi mommy 😊 Gets ko po bakit nakakalito. For OFW, yes, may rule na ang October–December 2025 contribution can be paid until January 31, 2026.

Pero for SSS maternity benefit, may separate rule: hindi counted ang contributions na nabayaran within or after the semester of contingency.

Last QP month: December 2025 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of December 2025 para safe sa maternity computation.

OFW - Land-based Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: June 2026
Question from Riza
Asked Jul 19, 2026

EDD KO June 20,2026 my hulog ako October, November at December 2025. bakit wala ako ma ku2ha sa maternity benefits ko kahit piso

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

or may issue sa MAT-1/MAT-2 or documents.

Best step mommy: check sa My.SSS kung posted ang Oct–Dec 2025 at anong date paid/posted, then ask SSS for computation breakdown.

Last QP month: December 2025 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of December 2025.

Preparing for Baby Expenses?

Hospital delivery in the Philippines can easily cost ₱60,000 - ₱200,000 depending on the hospital and type of delivery. Many parents use a credit card to manage these expenses while waiting for their SSS maternity benefits.
