OFW - Land-based Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: March 2027

EDD ko po March 2027 at OFW - Land-based member po ako. Sa calculator, inilagay kong paid/posted ang October 2025, November 2025, December 2025, January 2026, February 2026, March 2026, April 2026, May 2026, June 2026, July 2026, August 2026, and September 2026. Kakaalam ko lang po na pregnant ako at gusto kong malaman kung maaari pa akong maghulog para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit. Ang tanong ko po: Paano ko po maavail yun 70k maternity my hulog po ako 1200 pero gusto ko pong 3000 etong July kasi kakaalm ko lang na buntis ako, updated naman po ako sa bayaran

Hi mommy 😊 Kung March 2027 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Since updated ka at may hulog ka from October 2025–September 2026, possible qualified ka na basta paid and posted.

Pero para makuha ang ₱70,000 max MatBen, kailangan may 6 months na maximum MSC ₱20,000 within the qualifying period. Usually around ₱3,000/month regular SSS contribution ito, or kung ano ang exact amount na lalabas sa My.SSS PRN.

Kung dati ₱1,200/month ang hulog mo, around ₱8,000 MSC lang iyon. Kung July–September 2026 mo lang gagawing ₱3,000/month, hindi pa aabot ng ₱70,000 kasi 3 months lang ang max MSC.

Possible estimate:

Oct 2025–June 2026 at ₱1,200 + July–Sept 2026 at ₱3,000 = around ₱49,000 for 105 days
6 months at ₱3,000/month within QP = possible ₱70,000 max

Kung hindi kapa naka hulog ng July 2026 to Sept 2026, Pwede mong taasan ang hulog mo starting July 2026, lalo na OFW Land-based ka, pero hindi usually puwedeng “top-up” ang old months na already paid at posted.

Important: bayaran ang July–September 2026 on or before end of Sept. 2026 para counted sa March 2027 MatBen. (1PRN po yan)

Last QP month: September 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2026.

EDD ko is FEBRUARY 2027 may hulog ako ng OCTOBER 2025-APRIL 2026 qualified parin ba yun maternity benefits

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, qualified ka based sa contributions na sinabi mo, provided valid at posted lahat sa My.SSS.

For EDD February 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026. Since may hulog ka from October 2025 hanggang April 2026, mayroon kang 7 qualifying months, which is more than the minimum 3 monthly contributions required.

So kahit wala kang hulog from May–September 2026, possible ka pa ring qualified. Ang exact MatBen amount naman will depend sa 6 highest MSCs within your qualifying period.

EDD of ectopic pregnancy July 20,2020 tapos may hulog ako january hanggang june 2020

Hi mommy 😊 If ang actual ectopic pregnancy/termination date mo ay July 20, 2020, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2019–March 2020.

So sa contributions na sinabi mo:

January 2020 ✅ counted
February 2020 ✅ counted
March 2020 ✅ counted
April–June 2020 ❌ hindi na kasama sa qualifying period

If valid at properly paid ang January–March 2020, mayroon kang required 3 qualifying contributions, so possible kang qualified for SSS maternity benefit for 60 days dahil covered ang ectopic pregnancy under miscarriage/ETP benefits.

Good news din mommy: SSS maternity claims may be filed within 10 years from the date of miscarriage/ETP, so kung July 20, 2020 ang actual date, possible pa ring mag-file ngayon subject to SSS validation and complete medical documents.

Good morning po,
Ang EDD ko po ay March 2027,
binayaran ko po ang April, May, at June last July 2026 na tig 3,000. At plan na bayaran ang July, August at September this month din po na tig 3,000.
Ngayon po ang tanong ko, pasok ba ang payment ko sa April - June sa computation ng Maternity benefits ko? May iilan kasing nagsasabi na baka hindi ito mapasama sa computation kasi late payment.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, pasok ang April–June 2026 payments mo for EDD March 2027, provided nabayaran sila on or before July 31, 2026 at properly posted sa My.SSS. Hindi po sila considered late kung within that quarterly deadline ang payment.

Ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026, kaya counted ang:

April–June 2026 ✅
July–September 2026 ✅

If mabayaran mo rin ang July–September before October at ₱3,000/month lahat ng 6 months, possible kang umabot sa ₱70,000 MatBen for 105-day live childbirth, provided valid at posted lahat. 😊
