EDD ko October 2026. Nag hulog ako January-October. Qualified ba ako?

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, qualified kayo sa minimum contribution requirement for EDD October 2026, assuming valid at posted ang contributions ninyo.

Ang 12-month qualifying period ninyo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 monthly contributions within this period.

Sa hulog mong January–October 2026:

January–June 2026 ✅ counted — 6 qualifying months na po ito.
July–October 2026 ❌ hindi na counted sa maternity computation dahil nasa Semester of Contingency na.

So mommy, yes, may enough qualifying contributions ka na. Ang exact amount ng MatBen mo naman ay depende sa 6 highest MSCs mo within July 2025–June 2026.

EDD ko at either October or November 2026, nagstart ako maghulog ng March 2026 - July 2026 hindi ako nakapaghulog ng August 2026 pwede kopa kaya ihabol hulugan yan ngayung September dodoblihin ko nalang po

Hi mommy 😊 Kung October or November 2026 ang actual delivery, pareho po ang qualifying period: July 2025–June 2026.

So sa hulog mo:

March–June 2026 ✅ counted
July 2026 ❌ hindi na counted
August 2026 ❌ hindi na rin counted

At mommy, hindi puwedeng doblehin ang September contribution para mapalitan ang missed August. Magkaibang contribution months po sila.

Kung valid at posted ang March, April, May at June 2026, mayroon ka nang 4 qualifying contributions, kaya pasado ka na sa minimum na 3 months for MatBen qualification.

Anoang qualifying period kung kung first week of January ang delivery.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung first week of January 2027 ang actual delivery, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Kailangan may at least 3 valid monthly contributions within that period para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit. Hindi required na kumpleto lahat ng 12 months.

Employee Qualifying Period EDD: February 2027

EDD ko February 28, 2027. Between the qualifying period na October 2025-September 2026, di ko po nahulogan yung October 2025 since kaka start ko palang ng work ko niyan, and February 2026 is kaka start ko uli for my new work so wala pong hulog. Do I still need na hulogan po ang October 2025 and February 2026 para qualified po ako maka avail sa benefits?

Hi mommy 😊 Hindi mo na kailangang habulin ang October 2025 at February 2026 para lang maka-qualify, as long as mayroon kang at least 3 valid posted contributions within your qualifying period na October 2025–September 2026. (sss.gov.ph)

So kahit may gaps ka sa October 2025 at February 2026, okay lang po iyon. Hindi required na complete lahat ng 12 months.

Since Employee ka, employer ang responsible sa contributions for the months na actually employed ka. Hindi mo rin dapat personal na bayaran retroactively ang months na wala ka pang employer or wala kang applicable contribution.

Ang important is: check your My.SSS and make sure may at least 3 posted months from October 2025–September 2026. If meron, possible ka nang qualified. ✅
