Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: December 2026

EDD ko po December 2026 at Voluntary member po ako. Sa calculator, wala po akong inilagay na paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period. Gusto ko pong malaman kung maaari ko pang bayaran ang December 2025, January 2026, March 2026, April 2026, May 2026, and June 2026 para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit. Ang tanong ko po: Kung babayaran ko po ba itong qualifying period ko na 6months na 18k in total makakakuha po ba ako ng 70k maternity pay after kong maupdate ang SSS account ko from self employed to voluntary?

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Yung December 2025, January, March, April, May at June 2026 ay qualifying months sana, pero since August 2026 na ngayon, hindi na sila puwedeng habulin retroactively as Self-Employed/Voluntary member. Ang missed months become contribution gaps.

Kahit i-update mo ngayon from Self-Employed to Voluntary, hindi nito ire-reopen yung old months para mabayaran. So unfortunately, hindi puwedeng magbayad ngayon ng ₱18,000 para gumawa ng 6 qualifying months.

Yes, normally 6 qualifying months at ₱20,000 MSC can give around ₱70,000 for 105 days, pero kailangan valid at timely paid talaga ang 6 months na iyon.

Kung wala kang kahit 3 already paid/posted contributions from July 2025–June 2026, unfortunately hindi ka na makakahabol for this December 2026 MatBen.

EDD ko is FEBRUARY 2027 may hulog ako ng OCTOBER 2025-APRIL 2026 qualified parin ba yun maternity benefits

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, qualified ka based sa contributions na sinabi mo, provided valid at posted lahat sa My.SSS.

For EDD February 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026. Since may hulog ka from October 2025 hanggang April 2026, mayroon kang 7 qualifying months, which is more than the minimum 3 monthly contributions required.

So kahit wala kang hulog from May–September 2026, possible ka pa ring qualified. Ang exact MatBen amount naman will depend sa 6 highest MSCs within your qualifying period.

EDD of ectopic pregnancy July 20,2020 tapos may hulog ako january hanggang june 2020

Hi mommy 😊 If ang actual ectopic pregnancy/termination date mo ay July 20, 2020, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2019–March 2020.

So sa contributions na sinabi mo:

January 2020 ✅ counted
February 2020 ✅ counted
March 2020 ✅ counted
April–June 2020 ❌ hindi na kasama sa qualifying period

If valid at properly paid ang January–March 2020, mayroon kang required 3 qualifying contributions, so possible kang qualified for SSS maternity benefit for 60 days dahil covered ang ectopic pregnancy under miscarriage/ETP benefits.

Good news din mommy: SSS maternity claims may be filed within 10 years from the date of miscarriage/ETP, so kung July 20, 2020 ang actual date, possible pa ring mag-file ngayon subject to SSS validation and complete medical documents.

Good morning po,
Ang EDD ko po ay March 2027,
binayaran ko po ang April, May, at June last July 2026 na tig 3,000. At plan na bayaran ang July, August at September this month din po na tig 3,000.
Ngayon po ang tanong ko, pasok ba ang payment ko sa April - June sa computation ng Maternity benefits ko? May iilan kasing nagsasabi na baka hindi ito mapasama sa computation kasi late payment.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, pasok ang April–June 2026 payments mo for EDD March 2027, provided nabayaran sila on or before July 31, 2026 at properly posted sa My.SSS. Hindi po sila considered late kung within that quarterly deadline ang payment.

Ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026, kaya counted ang:

April–June 2026 ✅
July–September 2026 ✅

If mabayaran mo rin ang July–September before October at ₱3,000/month lahat ng 6 months, possible kang umabot sa ₱70,000 MatBen for 105-day live childbirth, provided valid at posted lahat. 😊
