Voluntary Qualifying Period EDD: July 2026

Nanganak po ako ng July 31, 2026 itatanong ko lang po kung kasama ang maternity benefit late payment po ako sa october to december 2025 nagbayad palang ako noong january 29 2026 sinabay ko na din ang january tapos sa february and march nagbayad ako nung february macocount ba yung october to december 2025 sa maternity benefit ko?

Hi mommy 😊 Since actual delivery mo ay July 31, 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026.

Kung Voluntary/Self-Employed ka at binayaran mo ang October–December 2025 noong January 29, 2026, counted po sila ✅ dahil pasok pa sa quarterly payment deadline na on or before end of January 2026.

Yung January 2026 ✅ counted din. At kung ang February at March 2026 contributions mo ay valid at nabayaran before April 2026, counted din sila sa MatBen computation.

So yes mommy, mabibilang ang October–December 2025 na binayaran mo January 29. 😊

EDD of ectopic pregnancy July 20,2020 tapos may hulog ako january hanggang june 2020

Hi mommy 😊 If ang actual ectopic pregnancy/termination date mo ay July 20, 2020, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2019–March 2020.

So sa contributions na sinabi mo:

January 2020 ✅ counted
February 2020 ✅ counted
March 2020 ✅ counted
April–June 2020 ❌ hindi na kasama sa qualifying period

If valid at properly paid ang January–March 2020, mayroon kang required 3 qualifying contributions, so possible kang qualified for SSS maternity benefit for 60 days dahil covered ang ectopic pregnancy under miscarriage/ETP benefits.

Good news din mommy: SSS maternity claims may be filed within 10 years from the date of miscarriage/ETP, so kung July 20, 2020 ang actual date, possible pa ring mag-file ngayon subject to SSS validation and complete medical documents.

EDD KO JANUARY 08 2027 MAY HULOG AKO MULA FEBRUARY HANGGANG SEPTEMBER 30 QUALIFAYING BA AKO SA MATERNITY BENEFITS

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, qualified ka based sa contributions na sinabi mo, provided valid at posted lahat sa My.SSS.

For EDD January 8, 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Yung hulog mo na February–September 2026 ✅ counted lahat, so mayroon kang 8 qualifying months. Lampas na ito sa minimum na 3 monthly contributions needed to qualify for SSS maternity benefit.

Ang exact amount ng MatBen mo will depend sa 6 highest MSCs within that qualifying period.

EDD ko at either October or November 2026, nagstart ako maghulog ng March 2026 - July 2026 hindi ako nakapaghulog ng August 2026 pwede kopa kaya ihabol hulugan yan ngayung September dodoblihin ko nalang po

Hi mommy 😊 Kung October or November 2026 ang actual delivery, pareho po ang qualifying period: July 2025–June 2026.

So sa hulog mo:

March–June 2026 ✅ counted
July 2026 ❌ hindi na counted
August 2026 ❌ hindi na rin counted

At mommy, hindi puwedeng doblehin ang September contribution para mapalitan ang missed August. Magkaibang contribution months po sila.

Kung valid at posted ang March, April, May at June 2026, mayroon ka nang 4 qualifying contributions, kaya pasado ka na sa minimum na 3 months for MatBen qualification.
