EDD ko po December 2026 at Non-Working Spouse member po ako. Sa calculator, wala po akong inilagay na paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period. Gusto ko pong malaman kung maaari ko pang bayaran ang January 2026 para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit. Ang tanong ko po: Paano po gagawin ko july ko na po nalaman na 5months pregnant po ko.please sana makakuha pa po ko ng materniry benefits para sa pangaganak ko po

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 valid monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa SSS MatBen.

Since Non-Working Spouse ka at wala kang paid/posted contributions sa qualifying period, unfortunately hindi na puwedeng habulin ngayon ang January 2026 or other missed months. SSS does not allow retroactive/back-payment for NWS contribution gaps.

So kahit July mo lang nalaman na pregnant ka, kung wala talagang at least 3 contributions already paid within July 2025–June 2026, unfortunately hindi na makaka-qualify for this December 2026 MatBen.

Kung Philheatlh member karin Mommy, pwede mo din macheck kung qualified ka, basta philhealth member, updated and details or contributions. Pero unlike SSS Matben cash benefits, ang Philhealth matben is more on cash deduction from hospital bilss sa mga accredited hospitals or lying in. If you plan to give birth sa mga philhealth accredited hospital or lying in mas ok po kung i check mismo sa kanila kung ano mga requirements nila para ma avail mo yung Philhealth matben deduction.

sss member po ako, MAY 2027 po ang EDD ko pwede ko po kayang hulugan ko ang JULY to SEP 2026 , total kasama po iyon sa qualifying period ko , sabi po kase di na po pwedeng habulin ang pwede ko nlang daw hulugan is OCT to DEC . so ang tanong ko po pwede ko pa bang mahulugan july to sep para po maka avail ako nang 6 months qualifying period ?? sana po masagot kung aadvice mo po ako . huhulugan ko pa ba or hindi na??? thankn u.

Hi mommy 😊 **Yes, huhulugan ko pa ang July–September 2026 if I were in your situation**, since **Voluntary member** ka and **EDD May 2027**.

Ang qualifying period mo is **January–December 2026**, so:

✅ **July–September 2026** — pasok sa qualifying period
✅ **October–December 2026** — pasok din

Since July–September is one quarter, **puwede mo pa silang bayaran this October 2026**, as long as ma-generate pa ang PRN and mabayaran within the allowed October deadline.

So kung wala kang ibang qualifying contributions, paying **July–September + October–December** can potentially give you **6 qualifying months** for the computation.

Important lang mommy: **3 months ang minimum para maging qualified**, while SSS uses up to your **6 highest MSCs** for the benefit computation. Kaya having 6 valid qualifying months can help your MatBen amount.

Makukuha ko ba yung maternity benefits ko kahit ako lang nag.submit ng mat 1 kasi Wala na akong trabaho Nung January 2026 pero may hulog ako Nung July 2025 Hanggang januang 2026 ang edd ko ay Nov 2026

Hi mommy 😊 **Yes po, possible kang makakuha ng SSS maternity benefit kahit ikaw mismo ang nag-submit ng MAT-1**, since wala ka nang employer noong nag-file ka and **NWS member** ka na.

For **EDD November 2026**, ang qualifying period mo ay **July 2025–June 2026**.

Based sa sinabi mong may hulog ka from **July 2025 hanggang January 2026**, mayroon kang **7 qualifying contributions ✅**, so lampas ka na sa minimum requirement na 3 months, provided valid at posted lahat sa My.SSS.

After delivery, ikaw na rin ang mag-file ng actual **Maternity Benefit Application** through My.SSS, and once approved, direct sa enrolled disbursement account mo ang payment.

If I paid from September To December 2026 with a monthly contribution of PHP 750. If I do this will there be additional increase for my SSS Maternity Benefit?

Hi mommy 😊 **Yes po, counted ang September–December 2026** because for **EDD April 2027**, ang qualifying period mo ay **January–December 2026**.

Since **NWS member** ka and ₱750/month ang hulog mo, these months can still be included in your qualifying contributions.

Pero mommy, if meron ka nang **6 qualifying months with higher contributions**, possible na hindi na madagdagan ang current MatBen mo because SSS uses the **6 highest MSCs** for the maternity computation.

Still, **hindi sayang ang additional contributions**. SSS is not only for maternity benefits—continued contributions also help build your record for future benefits such as **retirement/pension and other SSS benefits**.
