Question
From July to present naghuhulog nako ng 3000 kahit hindi pa ko buntis, to prepare for my maternity benefits.
For **July 2027 EDD** at Voluntary member, ang qualifying period ninyo is **April 2026–March 2027**.
If naghuhulog po kayo ng **₱3,000/month starting July 2026**, good strategy po iyon. Ang ₱3,000 contribution is around the **₱20,000 MSC maternity ceiling**.
For the maternity benefit amount, SSS uses the **6 highest Monthly Salary Credits (MSC)** within your qualifying period.
So if makumpleto ninyo ang:
✅ July–December 2026 = **6 months × ₱3,000**
and all are **properly posted on time**, meron na po kayong 6 months at the maximum maternity MSC.
After that, if **January–March 2027** ay ibaba ninyo sa minimum contribution, hindi naman nito bababaan ang maternity computation dahil kukunin pa rin ni SSS ang **6 highest MSC** — which would be your July–December contributions.
For 105 days, estimated maximum maternity benefit would be around **₱70,000**.
If qualified Solo Parent for 120 days, around **₱80,000**.
Posting date ang mahalaga, especially for Voluntary members.
