SSS – Sickness

Daily Sickness Allowance

The Daily Sickness Allowance is the per-day amount payable to the member, equal to 90% of the Average Daily Salary Credit (ADSC). This allowance partially replaces lost income during illness. Employers must advance this amount to employees and later claim reimbursement from SSS. Members should ensure that the daily rate paid matches the correct computation.
