Paano po ba mag process ngayon kasi employee ako tapos gusto ko mag self employed

Mommy, kung employee ka pa ngayon, hindi mo basta papalitan to self-employed para ikaw ang maghulog. Employer pa rin dapat ang mag-remit ng SSS mo habang employed ka.
Kung resigned/separated ka na or may sarili kang income/business/freelance, pwede ka mag-update to Self-Employed by submitting SSS Member Data Change Request / E-4. Sa SSS E-4, “To Self-Employed” has no required documents listed. Then gumawa ka ng PRN and pay your contribution.
Important: for maternity, only paid/posted contributions within your qualifying period and paid on time ang counted.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung February 2027 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Yung April–June 2026, kung August 2026 mo pa babayaran, likely late na po for Voluntary kasi ang April–June quarter usually dapat mabayaran on or before end of July 2026. So baka hindi na siya counted or baka hindi na rin mag-generate ng valid PRN.

Pero yung July–September 2026, kung babayaran mo sa September 2026 gamit valid PRN, possible counted siya kasi pasok pa sa qualifying period at before pa ng semester of contingency mo.

Kung July, August, September 2026 ang mababayaran mo ng ₱3,000 per month, possible qualified ka kasi may 3 paid and posted contributions. Estimated benefit for normal/CS 105 days is around ₱35,000, assuming ₱3,000 total SSS contribution per month.

Hindi na siya tataas unless may other valid paid/posted months ka pa within October 2025–September 2026.

Last QP month: September 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 Pakicheck muna po ang exact date kasi magkaiba ang computation:

Kung August 4, 2026 ang due date mo, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026. Counted ang April 2025–March 2026 basta paid and posted on time. Hindi na kasama ang April 2026 onwards.

Kung December 2026 talaga ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Counted ang July 2025–June 2026 basta paid and posted on time.

Kung bayad ka since January 2025, possible qualified ka. Pero hindi pa po masasabi ang exact amount without your monthly contribution or MSC. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs within the correct qualifying period.

Maximum is ₱70,000 for normal/CS 105 days kung may 6 months na maximum MSC.

Edd ko kopo is December 2026 nahulog tas ngayon po buntes ako piro simula ng January 2025 po bayad ko po lahat pwd po malaman kong mag kano makukuha ko sa maternity benefit ko

Hi mommy 😊 Kung December 2026 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Kung bayad ka from January 2025 hanggang ngayon, counted sa MatBen ang July 2025–June 2026 basta paid and posted on time. Possible kang qualified kasi higit sa 3 contributions ang meron ka.

Hindi pa po masasabi ang exact amount kasi kailangan malaman ang monthly contribution or MSC mo. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs within the qualifying period.

Maximum is ₱70,000 for normal/CS 105 days kung may 6 months na maximum MSC. Kung mas mababa ang hulog, mas mababa rin ang benefit.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.
