Edd kopo is june 2026 nanganak ako ng may 20, 2026

ang contribution kopo is january 2025-september 2025 lang nakaleave po ako kasi ng oct-dec 2025 dahil sa total bedrest ako. Nung nagpasa ako sa employer ko 31,500 lamang po ang nilagay nila na amount dahil wala daw po ako hulog ng oct-dec bakit po ganon? Tama po ba na 30k lang makukuha ko

Hi mommy 😊 Since May 20, 2026 ka nanganak, ang susundin is actual delivery month, not June EDD. Ang qualifying period mo is January 2025 to December 2025.

Counted ang hulog mo from January–September 2025. Yung October–December 2025 wala kang hulog, kaya possible bumaba talaga ang computation.

Tama lang na hindi siya ₱70k kung hindi max or kulang ang 6 highest MSC. Pero para sure kung tama ang ₱31,500, ask HR/SSS for the computation breakdown or check your posted MSC sa My.SSS.

Kapapanganak ko palang ng july 11 via CS, ngayon palang maaasikaso ang maternity benefits. Gaano kaya katagal ito maprocess at makakuha?

Hi mommy 😊 Since July 11 ka nanganak via CS, pwede mo na asikasuhin ang Maternity Benefit Application basta complete ang documents.

Kung self-filing/voluntary/separated ka, usually around 7 working days ang processing kapag complete at okay ang uploaded documents. After approval, possible may dagdag pang few banking days bago pumasok sa enrolled disbursement account.

Kung employed ka, usually employer/HR ang mag-aasikaso. Dapat i-advance ng employer ang full SSS maternity benefit within 30 days from filing of maternity leave application, then sila ang ire-reimburse ni SSS.

Prepare mo mommy ang child’s Certificate of Live Birth / registered birth document, proof/receipt from LCR if newly registered, and make sure active/approved ang Disbursement Account sa My.SSS para walang delay.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung July 2026 ang EDD/actual delivery mo, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026.

Sa hulog mo na November 2025–June 2026, ang counted lang sa MatBen ay November 2025–March 2026 basta paid and posted on time. Hindi na counted ang April–June 2026 kasi nasa semester of contingency na sila.

May at least 5 counted months ka, so possible kang qualified. Pero hindi pa masasabi ang exact amount without your monthly contribution or MSC.

Example: kung ₱3,000 total contribution per month ang counted months mo, possible estimate for 105 days ay around ₱58,333. Kung mas mababa ang hulog, mas mababa rin ang benefit.

Last QP month: March 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of March 2026.

maternity leave with caregiver allocation upto 7 days so sss maternity will 98 days for mother and payment of sss is 98days? what about 7 days payment?

Hi mommy 😊 Yes, kapag nag-allocate ka ng 7 days sa father or qualified caregiver, mababawasan ang leave days mo.

So instead of 105 days, magiging 98 days kay mommy + 7 days sa father/caregiver. Hindi siya additional 7 days on top of 105 days — transferred days po siya.

Yung 7 days payment/leave ay dapat i-process ng employer ng father/caregiver, basta employed siya and may written notice/allocation proof. If hindi niya nagamit or may issue, ipa-verify sa SSS/HR para maayos ang adjustment.
