Pwede naman po kayong mag-leave ng **6 months** kung approved ng employer/company ninyo, pero hindi po buong 6 months ang covered ng SSS Maternity Benefit.

For live childbirth:

✅ **105 days** — paid maternity leave
✅ **120 days** — if qualified Solo Parent
✅ May option din na **additional 30 days leave without pay**

Kung gusto ninyo pong umabot ng **6 months**, yung remaining days beyond the maternity leave entitlement would normally depend na po sa **company policy and approval** — halimbawa vacation leave, other available leave credits, or leave without pay.

Hindi rin po lalaki ang SSS maternity benefit dahil 6 months ang pinili ninyong leave. The SSS benefit is still computed based on your qualifying contributions and applicable maternity leave days.

Since miscarriage/ETP na ang actual case, **actual date ng miscarriage/procedure** ang gagamitin ng SSS—not the old September 2026 EDD—para ma-determine ang qualifying period.

Since **Employee** ka, coordinate agad with your **HR/employer** dahil sila normally ang magpo-process ng maternity claim/reimbursement.

Prepare and keep clear copies of these, as applicable:

✅ **Ultrasound + written ultrasound report** confirming the pregnancy/missed abortion
✅ **Medical Certificate / Clinical Abstract / Discharge Summary / Records of Consultation** signed by your doctor
✅ Doctor’s **name and PRC license number** should be visible
✅ **Operation/OR record** if may D&C/procedure
✅ **Histopathology report** if tissue was examined
✅ Other proof of pregnancy such as **Beta HCG/pregnancy test**, if requested

⚠️ Avoid uploading **ultrasound film/photo only without the written report**, blurry documents, incomplete pages, or documents with conflicting dates/details.
