SSS – Retirement

Continuous Contributions

Continuous Contributions refer to consistent monthly payments without gaps throughout a member’s working years. Maintaining continuous contributions increases both AMSC and CYS, resulting in a higher retirement pension. Voluntary and self-employed members are especially encouraged to avoid lapses, as gaps can significantly reduce future pension benefits or disqualify members from receiving a monthly pension.
