Pension Recalculation

Pension Recalculation is the process of adjusting a retiree’s pension when errors or missing contributions are discovered. This may increase the monthly pension and result in retroactive payments if underpayment is proven. Members may request recalculation to correct unposted employer contributions, incorrect salary credits, or record mismatches. SSS may also initiate recalculations following audits or system updates to ensure accuracy.
