SSS – Retirement

Dependent Pension

The Dependent Pension is an additional allowance given to the qualified minor children of a retired or disabled SSS pensioner. Up to five dependent children may each receive 10% of the pensioner’s monthly pension amount. Eligible dependents include legitimate, legitimated, legally adopted, and illegitimate children, provided they are unmarried, unemployed, and below 21 years old unless permanently disabled. This additional support helps families maintain financial stability after the breadwinner's retirement.
