Hi mommy 😊 Kung December 2026 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Since Self-Employed ka at wala kang paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period, hindi na safe habulin ang April–June 2026 ngayon July 2026 for Dec 2026 MatBen.

Kahit may chance na tanggapin pa ng PRN ang April–June payment, July 2026 na ang start ng semester of contingency mo. Sa SSS MatBen, contributions paid within or after the semester of contingency are not counted.

So kung wala kang ibang paid/posted contributions from July 2025–June 2026 na nabayaran before July 2026, likely hindi qualified for December 2026 maternity benefit.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 Hindi po automatic na kalahati lang dahil endo/resigned ka. Kung qualified ka, ang SSS MatBen mo is based sa contributions/MSC, not kung active employee ka pa sa delivery.

Pero kailangan malaman ang EDD month/year para sure ang qualifying period.

Kung ang EDD mo ay October–December 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Sa sinabi mo, possible counted ang July–Sept 2025 and March–June 2026, basta paid and posted on time. Possible qualified ka.

Tama ang ₱70,000 only kung may at least 6 months na maximum MSC within the qualifying period. Usually ito yung around ₱3,000 total SSS contribution/month. Kung hindi max ang hulog mo, mas mababa sa ₱70k ang lalabas.

Dahil endo ka na noong June 30, 2026, if separated ka na before delivery, humingi ka sa employer ng Certificate of Separation / No Advance Payment para makapag-file ka directly sa SSS after manganak.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung employed ka, usually ang employer/HR ang mag-aasikaso ng SSS maternity benefit.

Dapat i-advance ng employer ang full SSS maternity benefit within 30 days from filing ng maternity leave application. Kaya possible siyang ibigay before manganak kung nakapag-file ka na ng maternity leave application at complete na ang requirements. Pero depende pa rin sa HR process kung kailan nila nire-release.

Habang naka-maternity leave, hindi ibig sabihin na may regular salary ka pa ulit on top of SSS. Ang dapat mong matanggap ay:

SSS maternity benefit + salary differential, para maging full pay ang maternity leave mo, unless exempted ang employer sa salary differential.

Yes, possible ka pang makahabol kung mag-start ka ng Voluntary ngayon, basta ang babayaran mo ay months na pasok sa qualifying period at hindi late sa PRN deadline.

Pwede pang makatulong:

✅ April–June 2026 — kung nabayaran mo within July 2026 gamit valid PRN at posted agad
✅ July–September 2026 — bayaran on time, ideally on or before end of September 2026

Kailangan mo ng at least 3 paid and posted contributions within Oct 2025–Sept 2026 para maka-qualify.

Kung 3 months at ₱3,000/month, possible estimate is around ₱35,000 for 105 days.
Kung 6 months at ₱3,000/month, possible umabot sa ₱70,000 max.

Hindi na counted ang October 2026 onwards sa March 2027 MatBen kasi semester of contingency na iyon.

Yes, August 2026 can be counted kung mababayaran siya on time, valid PRN, and posted before October 2026.

Pero 1 month lang na August 2026 is not enough para maka-qualify. Kailangan mo ng at least 3 paid and posted contributions within Oct 2025–Sept 2026.

Kung wala ka pang ibang hulog, target mo dapat at least:

✅ August 2026
✅ September 2026

Kung ₱3,000/month ang hulog for 3 months, possible estimate is around ₱35,000 for 105 days. Kung minimum lang, mas mababa ang makukuha.

Yung June 9, 2001 kung birthday mo po iyon, hindi naman issue. Ang importante sa MatBen is yung qualifying period, paid/posted contributions, and MAT-1 filing while pregnant.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung January 2026 ang EDD/actual delivery mo, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2024–September 2025.

Yung January 2026 contribution ay hindi na counted sa January 2026 MatBen kasi nasa semester of contingency na siya. Hindi rin siya makakahabol para maka-qualify.

Since Employee member ka, hindi rin ikaw ang dapat personal na magbayad ng employee contribution for January 2026. Employer dapat ang nagre-remit kung employed ka sa month na iyon.

Kung wala kang paid/posted contribution sa October 2024–September 2025, likely hindi qualified sa SSS maternity benefit. Pero kung may employer remittance ka noon na late lang na-post, ipa-check mo sa HR/SSS kasi possible counted pa rin kung valid employer contribution.

Yung “vshuMyoMzzywEdQRkTRgH” hindi ko po sure kung error code or random text. Mas okay mag-send ng exact screenshot/message sa My.SSS para ma-check.

Hi mommy 😊 Hindi po automatic na kalahati lang ang makukuha dahil nag-resign ka.

Kung qualified ka sa SSS maternity benefit, dapat based pa rin ang amount sa SSS computation mo — hindi siya hinahati dahil lang separated/resigned ka.

Pero dahil last duty mo August 31 at resigned ka na, importante kung kailan ang delivery mo:

Kung manganak ka within 6 months from separation, usually kailangan ng Certificate of Separation from employer na may effective date at nakalagay na no advance payment was granted.
Kung hindi na employer ang mag-aadvance, possible na directly to your enrolled SSS disbursement account ang payment.

Makukuha mo ang full SSS maternity benefit kung qualified ka at complete ang documents. Mababa or kulang lang ang net proceeds kung may deduction, loan balance, adjustment, or may contribution months na hindi counted.

Best gawin mommy: request ka agad sa HR ng Certificate of Separation with no advance payment, then make sure approved ang bank/e-wallet mo sa My.SSS DAEM.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung January 2027 ang EDD mo at Self-Employed ka, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Yung April 2026 ay pasok sa qualifying period, pero 1 month lang iyon kaya hindi pa sapat. Kailangan mo ng at least 3 paid and posted contributions.

Kung gusto mo ng sakto para maka-qualify, mas okay bayaran ang April, May, June 2026 ngayong July 2026, basta may valid PRN pa at accepted ni SSS. For Self-Employed, ang April–June quarter usually dapat mabayaran on or before end of July 2026.

Yung December 2026 hindi na counted sa January 2027 MatBen kasi nasa semester of contingency na siya.

Practical options:

Minimum only:
₱750/month × 3 months = ₱2,250 total
Estimated MatBen: around ₱8,750

Better kung kaya:
₱3,000/month × 3 months = ₱9,000 total
Estimated MatBen: around ₱35,000

Para magbayad online:
Login sa My.SSS or SSS Mobile App → generate PRN for contributions → piliin Self-Employed → select months and amount → pay online through available payment partners/e-wallet/bank → then check kung posted na sa Contribution Inquiry.

Mag-file din ng Maternity Notification / MAT-1 sa My.SSS habang buntis pa.

Pwede pang humabol kung:

July–September 2026 — Due date nya on or before end of Sept if quarterly payment po 1PRN po yan.

Hindi counted ang October 2026 onwards sa February 2027 MatBen kasi semester of contingency na iyon.

Kung ang hulog mo ay December 2025–April 2026, possible qualified ka basta may at least 3 paid and posted contributions na pasok sa qualifying period at paid on time.

Example:

Kung July–September 2026 ang EDD mo, qualifying period is April 2025–March 2026 — counted ang Dec 2025–March 2026, pero hindi na counted ang April 2026.
Kung October–December 2026 ang EDD mo, qualifying period is July 2025–June 2026 — counted ang Dec 2025–April 2026 basta paid before July 2026.
Kung January–March 2027 ang EDD mo, qualifying period is October 2025–September 2026 — counted din ang Dec 2025–April 2026 basta paid on time.
