Hi mommy 😊 Kung October or November 2026 ang actual delivery, pareho po ang qualifying period: July 2025–June 2026.

So sa hulog mo:

March–June 2026 ✅ counted
July 2026 ❌ hindi na counted
August 2026 ❌ hindi na rin counted

At mommy, hindi puwedeng doblehin ang September contribution para mapalitan ang missed August. Magkaibang contribution months po sila.

Kung valid at posted ang March, April, May at June 2026, mayroon ka nang 4 qualifying contributions, kaya pasado ka na sa minimum na 3 months for MatBen qualification.

Kailangan may at least 3 valid monthly contributions within that period para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit. Hindi required na kumpleto lahat ng 12 months.

Hi mommy 😊 Hindi mo na kailangang habulin ang October 2025 at February 2026 para lang maka-qualify, as long as mayroon kang at least 3 valid posted contributions within your qualifying period na October 2025–September 2026. (sss.gov.ph)

So kahit may gaps ka sa October 2025 at February 2026, okay lang po iyon. Hindi required na complete lahat ng 12 months.

Since Employee ka, employer ang responsible sa contributions for the months na actually employed ka. Hindi mo rin dapat personal na bayaran retroactively ang months na wala ka pang employer or wala kang applicable contribution.

Ang important is: check your My.SSS and make sure may at least 3 posted months from October 2025–September 2026. If meron, possible ka nang qualified. ✅

For EDD November 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan lang ng at least 3 valid monthly contributions within this period.

Since may hulog ka buong 2025, counted dito ang:

July–December 2025 ✅ = 6 months
February–March 2026 ✅ = 2 months

So kahit walang hulog noong January 2026, mayroon ka pa ring 8 qualifying months, kaya pasado ka sa minimum requirement. 😊

Ang exact amount naman ng MatBen mo will depend sa 6 highest MSCs mo within July 2025–June 2026.

2 months pa lang po iyon, so kulang pa sa minimum na 3 contributions.

Pero kung may kahit 1 additional posted contribution ka from July 2025–January 2026 or April–June 2026, possible ka nang maka-qualify. Yung naka-leave ka noong January does not automatically disqualify you.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 valid monthly contributions within that period para maka-qualify sa SSS MatBen.

Kung wala kang hulog January–June 2026, check mo muna kung may at least 3 posted contributions from July–December 2025. Kung meron, possible ka pa ring qualified. ✅

Pero kung wala ka ring 3 contributions from July–December 2025, unfortunately hindi na puwedeng habulin ngayon ang missed January–June 2026 as a Voluntary member. SSS does not allow retroactive payment ng past-due gaps.

So mommy, hindi ibig sabihin na automatic disqualified ka dahil walang Jan–Jun—ang important is kung may 3 valid contributions anywhere within July 2025–June 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 Since Voluntary member ka and August 24 ka nag-file ng MAT-2/Maternity Benefit Application, only a few days pa lang po, so normal pa ang Waiting/Pending status.

For a regular live childbirth (non-medical) claim, SSS’ published processing time is around 7 working days, provided complete and acceptable ang documents.

So mommy, give it around 7 working days from August 24. Check your My.SSS notifications and email in case may document na kailangan i-correct or resubmit.

Once approved, the benefit will be credited to your approved DAEM account.

Hi mommy, I’m sorry you went through this. 💛 Since the actual miscarriage date was August 23, 2026 and nakapag-file ka na ng Maternity Notification, puwede ka nang mag-file ng Maternity Benefit Application for miscarriage once complete ang medical documents mo. SSS provides 60 days of maternity benefit for miscarriage, provided qualified ka based on contributions.

If Voluntary / Self-Employed / OFW / NWS / separated from employment, gawin ito online:

Log in sa My.SSS
Go to Benefits → Apply for Maternity Benefit
Enter August 23, 2026 as the miscarriage date.
Upload your supporting documents.
Submit the application. Make sure may approved DAEM/disbursement account ka.

For miscarriage, prepare:

Proof of pregnancy — ultrasound, Beta HCG/blood pregnancy test, or physician-signed pregnancy test
Proof of miscarriage — ultrasound, histopathology, Operating Room Record, or other accepted physician-signed proof
Medical Certificate, Clinical Abstract/Discharge Summary, or Record of Consultation signed by your doctor.

Since nangyari sa Cebu Velez General Hospital, magandang kunin mo ang Clinical Abstract/Discharge Summary and ultrasound/medical records bago mag-file.

Your qualifying period for the August 23, 2026 miscarriage is April 2025–March 2026. If may at least 3 valid contributions ka within that period, possible kang qualified for the 60-day MatBen.

If currently employed ka, sabihin mo sa HR/employer dahil employer ang magpo-process/advance ng maternity benefit rather than ikaw ang direct individual claimant.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po. For EDD April 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay January–December 2026, so July 2026 ✅ pasok sa computation.

As a Voluntary member, puwedeng bayaran ang July–September contributions quarterly, with the applicable deadline on or before end of October 2026. So kung mabayaran at properly posted ang July 2026 before October 31, counted po siya for your April 2027 MatBen.

Since may August–December 2026 ka na rin, kapag naisama ang July, magiging 6 qualifying months ka na. Kung lahat ng 6 months ay nasa ₱20,000 MSC, possible ang maximum na around ₱70,000 for 105 days.

Hi mommy 😊 Usually, ₱25,000 lang ang MatBen kapag ang 6 highest SSS Monthly Salary Credits (MSC) na pasok sa qualifying period ay mababa, kulang sa 6 months, or may some contributions na hindi naisama sa computation. SSS computes MatBen using the 6 highest MSCs within your 12-month qualifying period, then divides by 180 and multiplies by 105 days for live birth.

Hindi po base sa total na nahulog mo sa buong SSS history. Kahit malaki ang contributions mo ngayon, kung hindi sila pasok sa qualifying period ng actual delivery mo, hindi sila makakadagdag sa current MatBen.
