Hi mommy 😊 Since EDD mo is January 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026. If actual delivery mo ay January, counted lahat ng April–September 2026 na ₱3,000/month. Since 6 months iyon at equivalent sa ₱20,000 MSC, possible ang maximum ₱70,000 MatBen for 105 days.

Pero kung ma-CS ka earlier at manganak talaga ng December 2026, magbabago ang qualifying period mo to July 2025–June 2026. Sa hulog mong April–September, April, May at June lang ang counted. Kung wala kang ibang contributions from July 2025–March 2026, 3 months lang at ₱20,000 MSC ang magagamit, so estimated MatBen is around ₱35,000, hindi ₱70,000.

So mommy, hindi na kailangan hulugan ang October–December para mapataas itong pregnancy claim, dahil hindi sila counted whether January 2027 or December 2026 ang actual delivery. Ang importanteng check ay kung may older contributions ka from July 2025–March 2026—kung meron, possible pa ring umabot sa ₱70,000 kahit December ka manganak.

Hi mommy 😊 Since tapos na ang Maternity Notification mo at may enrolled bank account ka na sa DAEM, ang next step depends sa membership status mo.

Kung Voluntary / Self-Employed / OFW / NWS / separated from employment, after giving birth ka pa magfa-file ng actual Maternity Benefit Application (MAT-2 equivalent) online. Kailangan kasi ng registered birth documents, then kapag approved, SSS will deposit the benefit directly sa enrolled account mo. MAT-1 alone does not release the benefit before delivery.

Kung currently employed ka naman, employer normally advances the maternity benefit within 30 days from filing the maternity leave application, then sila ang magre-reimburse sa SSS.

So kung direct SSS claimant ka mommy, yes—usually after delivery and after ma-submit/approve ang MatBen application mo, similar sa process ng miscarriage claim mo dati. 😊

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, tama ang hulog mo based sa dates na sinabi mo.

For EDD November 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. So counted itong:

January–March 2026 ✅
April–June 2026 ✅

Since binayaran mo ang Jan–Mar bago matapos ang March, at ang Apr–Jun bago matapos ang June, timely po ang payments mo. SSS allows Voluntary members to pay monthly or quarterly within the applicable deadline.

At dahil ₱3,000/month ang hulog mo, equivalent ito sa ₱20,000 MSC for the Regular SSS benefit computation. Kung valid at posted lahat ng 6 months, possible ang maximum na around ₱70,000 MatBen for 105-day live childbirth:

₱20,000 × 6 ÷ 180 × 105 = ₱70,000.

So yes mommy, yung ₱18,000 total mo for Jan–Jun 2026 looks correct for aiming at the ₱70,000 maximum, provided properly posted lahat sa My.SSS.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD November 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Yung contributions mo na January–March 2025 ❌ hindi na counted, dahil outside na sila sa qualifying period.

As of August 2026, hindi na puwedeng habulin ngayon ang:

January–March 2026 ❌ past due
April–June 2026 ❌ past due

For Voluntary members, missed contribution months become gaps and hindi puwedeng bayaran retroactively para punan sila.

So kung wala kang kahit 3 already paid/posted contributions from July 2025–June 2026, unfortunately hindi ka na makakahabol para sa November 2026 MatBen. SSS requires at least 3 contributions within the qualifying period.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, possible ka pa ring makatanggap ng SSS Maternity Benefit kahit employed ka dati at separated na ngayon. Ang importante ay qualified ka based sa contributions mo at properly filed ang maternity notification. SSS states that separated/unemployed members can be paid directly by SSS once the claim is approved.

Kung within 6 months from separation ang delivery mo, possible hingin ang Certificate of Separation showing the effective separation date and that walang maternity benefit advance na binigay ng previous employer.

Send mo lang mommy ang EDD/actual delivery date + months na may hulog, then mache-check natin kung qualified ka.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 valid monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa SSS MatBen.

Since Non-Working Spouse ka at wala kang paid/posted contributions sa qualifying period, unfortunately hindi na puwedeng habulin ngayon ang January 2026 or other missed months. SSS does not allow retroactive/back-payment for NWS contribution gaps.

So kahit July mo lang nalaman na pregnant ka, kung wala talagang at least 3 contributions already paid within July 2025–June 2026, unfortunately hindi na makaka-qualify for this December 2026 MatBen.

Kung Philheatlh member karin Mommy, pwede mo din macheck kung qualified ka, basta philhealth member, updated and details or contributions. Pero unlike SSS Matben cash benefits, ang Philhealth matben is more on cash deduction from hospital bilss sa mga accredited hospitals or lying in. If you plan to give birth sa mga philhealth accredited hospital or lying in mas ok po kung i check mismo sa kanila kung ano mga requirements nila para ma avail mo yung Philhealth matben deduction.

Kung Voluntary/Self-Employed ka at binayaran mo ang October–December 2025 noong January 29, 2026, counted po sila ✅ dahil pasok pa sa quarterly payment deadline na on or before end of January 2026.

Yung January 2026 ✅ counted din. At kung ang February at March 2026 contributions mo ay valid at nabayaran before April 2026, counted din sila sa MatBen computation.

So yes mommy, mabibilang ang October–December 2025 na binayaran mo January 29. 😊

Mommy, for EDD Nov. 13, 2026, ang qualifying period mo is July 2025 to June 2026.

Hindi na po puwedeng hulugan ang missed 2025 months para habulin ang maternity benefit. SSS says missed months become gaps and retroactive payment is not allowed for voluntary members.

Sa hulog mo na January 2026 to December 2026:

Counted sa Nov 2026 claim: January to June 2026 only
Hindi counted: July to December 2026

Pero important mommy: kung ang January to June 2026 ay binayaran mo lang July 2026 or later, may risk na hindi siya i-count ni SSS for this maternity claim. SSS says retroactive OFW payments may not be used for benefit eligibility if paid within/after the excluded period for the claim.

About status: kung hindi ka na OFW ngayon, pwede ka magbayad as Voluntary member moving forward. SSS says choosing “Voluntary” in PRN means declaration na ceased ka na as EE/SE/OFW for that period.

Estimate kung valid counted ang Jan–June 2026 at ₱1,200/month contribution: possible around ₱28,000 for 105 days, not ₱70,000.

Para umabot sa ₱70,000, kailangan sana may 6 highest MSC na ₱20,000 sa qualifying period. Since ₱1,200/month contribution is around ₱8,000 MSC only, hindi siya aabot sa max.

Mommy, depende po sa EDD ninyo.

Kung ang EDD ninyo ay January, February, or March 2027, ang qualifying period ay October 2025 to September 2026. So kung may hulog ka na sa July, August, and September 2026, may 3 months ka na. Hindi na kailangan ang October–December 2026 para maka-qualify sa maternity claim na iyon, kasi hindi na sila counted for that EDD.

Pero kung ang EDD ninyo ay April, May, or June 2027, counted pa ang October–December 2026, so makakatulong pa sila lalo na kung gusto mong mas mataas ang possible benefit.

SSS requires at least 3 paid contributions sa 12-month qualifying period before delivery/miscarriage, and only contributions paid before the semester of contingency are considered.
