Question from Riza
Asked Jul 19, 2026

EDD KO June 20,2026 my hulog ako October, November at December 2025. bakit wala ako ma ku2ha sa maternity benefits ko kahit piso

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

or may issue sa MAT-1/MAT-2 or documents.

Best step mommy: check sa My.SSS kung posted ang Oct–Dec 2025 at anong date paid/posted, then ask SSS for computation breakdown.

Last QP month: December 2025 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of December 2025.

Voluntary General Question
Question from Dons
Asked Jul 19, 2026

Wala na po ba chance ang latepayment? Or pwede ipa adjust sa sss brunch or pwede ba ako mag bigay ng consideration kay sss 🥲 para sa maternity ko . Jan to march april 2 2026 nakabayad? May chance paba???

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

Pero for SSS maternity benefit, mas strict ang rule: hindi counted ang contribution kung binayaran within or after the semester of contingency.

Best step: ask SSS for computation breakdown or confirmation kung counted ba ang Jan–March payment mo.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: March 2027
Question from Rose
Asked Jul 19, 2026

Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 19, 2026

Hi mommy 😊

Base sa details na nilagay mo:

EDD: March 2027
SSS member type: Voluntary
Qualifying period: Oct 2025 to Sep 2026
Qualifying contributions na nilagay mo: 3

May at least 3 qualifying contributions ka na

Month(s) na tinatanong mo:
• April 2026 — kasama sa qualifying period mo at mukhang puwede pang bayaran on or before July 31, 2026.
• May 2026 — kasama sa qualifying period mo at mukhang puwede pang bayaran on or before July 31, 2026.
• June 2026 — kasama sa qualifying period mo at mukhang puwede pang bayaran on or before July 31, 2026.
April to June contribution po generate ka ng 1PRN for a quarterly payment, wag mo po xa i monthly payment kasi pag i montly contribution mo xa yung April at May magiging late payment na kasi ang Due ng April is on or before end of May, and May due is on or before end of June which is tapos napo pareho yung due nila pero kung i quarterly mo xa papasok paxa sa due ng on or before end of July.

Pwede parin po mahabol ang July to Sept contribution, if quarterly payment pay mo xa on or before end of Sept.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: October 2026
Question from Arianne
Asked Jul 19, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

For Voluntary members, bawal ang retroactive/back-payment; missed months are considered gaps.

Para sa October 2026 MatBen, ang contributions dapat paid before July 2026, dahil July ang start ng semester of contingency.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

OFW - Land-based General Question
Question from Alicia
Asked Jul 19, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

Kapag “not enough contribution” ang result, ibig sabihin kulang ka pa sa required na at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period. Pakicheck muna kung may months pa na legally payable on time.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: November 2026
Question from jhona
Asked Jul 19, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

SSS only considers contributions paid before the semester of contingency.

So for MatBen, late na siya kahit posted pa. Possible ka pa ring qualified kung may at least 3 ibang paid and posted contributions from July 2025–March 2026.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

Employee Late Claim / Past Maternity
Question from Blesila
Asked Jul 18, 2026

Nakunan Po Ako nong march 2026 Bali may hulog Po sss ko start January -dec 2025 at jan -march Bali 1275 hulog Ng employer ko pwd ko Po ba hulugan since Ang qualifying period ko is oct-dec 2024 to jan-sep 2025

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 20, 2026

Last QP month: September 2025 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2025.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline
Question from Sarah
Asked Jul 18, 2026

Voluntary contri. Start mar.2026 magkano ang makukuha sa sss maternity for 3rd birth

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 18, 2026

Kailangan din may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within that qualifying period.

Good news mommy: hindi na issue kung 3rd birth, kasi SSS maternity benefit can be granted per pregnancy/childbirth basta qualified.

For normal delivery or CS, maximum is usually ₱70,000 kung may 6 months na maximum MSC.

Voluntary Miscarriage / Stillbirth
Question from Jessy
Asked Jul 18, 2026

Miscarriage / Emergency Termination of Pregnancy (ETP).

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 18, 2026

Dapat may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period.

Usually requirements:

proof of pregnancy, like pregnancy test/ultrasound/Beta HCG
proof of termination of pregnancy
medical certificate, clinical abstract, discharge summary, or consultation record
Dapat signed by doctor/physician.

How to claim: file Maternity Benefit Application / MAT-2 through My.SSS or SSS branch.

Employee Qualifying Period EDD: March 2027
Question from Shiela
Asked Jul 17, 2026

EDD KO MARCH 20 PERO NANGANAK AKO FEB 18 2026,MAY HULOG NA SEP OCT NOV DEC pasok paden basya sa qualification

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 18, 2026

Last QP month: September 2025 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2025.
