Hi mommy 😊 For EDD July 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026. Kaya pasok sa qualifying months ang October–December 2025 at January 2026.

Kung ang ibig mong sabihin ay binayaran mo ang October–December 2025 noong January 2026, then yes po, counted sila ✅ kung Voluntary/Self-Employed ka, dahil puwedeng bayaran ang quarterly contribution hanggang end of January 2026.

Pero kung ang January 2026 contribution ay ngayon August 2026 mo lang binayaran, ibang usapan po iyon—kung Voluntary member, past due na at hindi na puwedeng habulin retroactively.

So mommy, kung Oct–Dec 2025 were actually paid in January 2026, magandang news: 3 qualifying contributions na po iyon, at puwedeng counted sa July 2026 MatBen. ✅

Kung Voluntary / Self-Employed ka, yung April–June 2026 ❌ late na po ngayon August 2026. Ang deadline ng April–June quarter was on or before end of July 2026, kaya hindi na sila puwedeng habulin retroactively. (sss.gov.ph)

July 2026 ✅

Kung wala ka pang ibang qualifying contributions, itong 3 months ang priority mo para maabot ang minimum requirement. For this March 2027 MatBen, bayaran sila before October 2026 para maisama sa qualification. (sss.gov.ph)

So short answer: April–June ❌ late na, pero July–September ✅ puwede pang habulin.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD August 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 valid monthly contributions within that period para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit.

Since Voluntary member ka and August 2026 na ngayon, kung wala kang paid/posted contributions within April 2025–March 2026, unfortunately hindi na puwedeng habulin ngayon ang mga past-due months para sa current pregnancy.

So ang important mong i-check sa My.SSS ay kung may kahit 3 posted contributions from April 2025 to March 2026. If meron, possible ka pa ring qualified.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD April 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay January–December 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 valid monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa SSS MatBen.

Since August 2026 na ngayon at wala ka pang paid/posted contributions, yung practical months na puwede mo pang bayaran are:

July 2026 ✅
August 2026 ✅
September 2026 ✅
October 2026 ✅
November 2026 ✅
December 2026 ✅

Yung January–June 2026, hindi na puwedeng habulin as Voluntary dahil past-due gaps na iyon.

For qualification, priority mo muna ang July–September 2026 para magkaroon ka ng minimum 3 qualifying contributions. Puwede silang bayaran monthly or quarterly; July–September may be paid on or before end of October 2026.If monthly mo babayran ang due is on or before end of the following month for example. July contribution kailangan xa ma pay on or before end of Aug. if quarterly naman,yang isa ko na sinabi July to Sept due on or before end of Oct. or mas maganda kung ma pay as early as possible.

Kung kaya ng budget, ituloy hanggang December 2026 dahil puwedeng makatulong ang additional qualifying months para mas mataas ang possible MatBen.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD April 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay January–December 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 valid monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify.

Since wala ka pang paid/posted contributions, priority mo ngayon ang:

July 2026 ✅
August 2026 ✅
September 2026 ✅

As a Voluntary member, puwedeng bayaran ang July–September as part of the quarter, on or before end of October 2026.

So kung qualification lang ang goal, July–September = 3 months can already meet the minimum requirement. Kung kaya ng budget, ituloy mo rin October–December 2026 dahil puwede itong makatulong para mas mataas ang MatBen mo. For this pregnancy, make sure those contributions are paid before January 2027 para maisama sa computation.

Hi mommy 😊 Possible na counted pa rin ang January 2026 contribution, pero depende sa EDD/actual delivery date mo at kung pasok ang January sa qualifying period.

Kung Voluntary or Self-Employed ka, yung October–December na late na at hindi nabayaran within the allowed deadline usually magiging gaps na at hindi na puwedeng habulin retroactively.

Pero yung January 2026 na kakabayad mo lang, puwede pa ring counted kung valid ang payment, properly posted, at pasok siya sa qualifying period ng pregnancy mo. SSS requires at least 3 qualifying monthly contributions for MatBen.

Send mo lang mommy ang EDD mo + member type (Employee/Voluntary/Self-Employed/OFW), para macheck natin exactly kung counted ang January at kung qualified ka.

Hi mommy 😊 Pwede po, pero may isang importanteng step.

Since Employee ka noong nag-file ng MAT-1, normally employer/HR ang dapat mag-transmit ng maternity notification sa SSS. Hindi naman ibig sabihin na automatically invalid yung na-file mo online, pero ipa-check mo muna sa HR/agency bago ka mag-resign para sure na properly recorded ang MAT-1 mo.

Kung resigned ka na by October at Voluntary ka na pagdating ng delivery, pagkatapos manganak ikaw na mismo ang puwedeng mag-file ng Maternity Benefit Application (dating MAT-2) through My.SSS, at SSS can pay the approved benefit directly to your enrolled DAEM account.

Since malapit ang resignation mo sa delivery, kumuha rin ng Certificate of Separation from your employer stating:

effective date ng separation; at
walang maternity benefit advance na ibinigay sa iyo.

Required ito kapag delivery happens within 6 months from separation.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 valid monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit.

Yung gusto mong bayaran na September–December 2025 ay pasok sana sa qualifying period, pero since Voluntary member ka at past due na ang mga months na iyon, hindi na sila puwedeng habulin ngayon. SSS does not allow retroactive payment para punan ang missed Voluntary contributions.

So kung wala talaga kayong at least 3 paid/posted contributions from July 2025–June 2026, unfortunately hindi na kayo makakahabol para sa December 2026 MatBen.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD April 5, 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay January–December 2026.

Kung Land-Based OFW ang membership type mo noong nagbayad ka, pasok pa po ang January, February at March 2026 contributions na binayaran mo noong June 9, 2026 ✅. Hindi siya considered late for OFW payment purposes because SSS allows contributions for January–September to be paid until December 31 of the same year.

So yung:

January 2026 — ₱3,000 ✅
February 2026 — ₱3,000 ✅
March 2026 — ₱3,000 ✅

can be counted for your April 2027 MatBen, provided properly posted sila sa My.SSS.

At dahil may 3 qualifying contributions ka na, pasok ka na sa minimum contribution requirement. If ₱3,000 each corresponds to ₱20,000 MSC and these are your only qualifying months, estimated 105-day MatBen would be around ₱35,000. More qualifying months can increase the benefit, up to the applicable maximum.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung Voluntary/Self-Employed ka at ₱3,000/month ang contribution mo, equivalent iyon sa ₱20,000 MSC for maternity computation.

Kung April–August 2026 = 5 months at lahat sila ay pasok sa qualifying period mo, at wala ka nang ibang qualifying contributions, estimated MatBen for 105-day live childbirth is around:

₱20,000 × 5 ÷ 180 × 105 = ₱58,333 😊

Kung makumpleto mo ang 6 qualifying months at ₱20,000 MSC, possible ang maximum na ₱70,000.
