Since **Employee** ka, make sure din na na-file na ang **MAT-1/Maternity Notification through your employer/HR**. Normally, your employer advances the SSS maternity benefit, then sila ang magre-request ng reimbursement from SSS.

Also mommy, aside from the SSS Maternity Benefit, you may also be entitled to a separate **salary differential from your employer**, depending on your employment situation. 😊

Hi mommy 😊 For **EDD April 2027**, ang qualifying period mo is **January–December 2026**.

Since **Voluntary member** ka:

✅ **July–September 2026** — if hindi pa paid, puwede pa silang bayaran within the allowed quarterly deadline, as long as ma-generate pa ang PRN.
✅ **October–December 2026** — pasok din sa qualifying period.

Important for maternity: contributions used for the claim should be **paid/posted before January 2027**, dahil January 2027 starts your maternity semester. Contributions paid within the maternity semester may no longer be counted for this claim.

For **EDD May 2027**, ang qualifying period mo is **January–December 2026**, so ✅ pasok ang July–September sa MatBen computation once valid at properly posted sila sa My.SSS.

Hindi pa po considered late/backpayment dahil within the allowed quarterly payment deadline ka pa.

So unfortunately, contributions for **October 2026–January 2027 ❌ will no longer increase your MatBen for this pregnancy**, because outside na sila sa qualifying period.

If goal mo is to reach the **highest possible MatBen**, check first kung ano ang actual contributions na **POSTED in My.SSS from October 2025–September 2026**. Since September ang last qualifying month, contributions intended for this MatBen should have been **posted on or before end of September 2026**.

Hi mommy 😊 For **EDD May 2027**, ang qualifying period mo ay **January–December 2026**, so **October, November, and December 2026 ✅ counted** sa MatBen computation.

If **₱750/month** ang balak mong hulog, puwede itong makatulong para ma-meet ang minimum contribution requirement. Pero kung kaya ng budget mo, magandang i-check muna kung **mas mataas na contribution amount ang allowed sa My.SSS/PRN mo**, dahil the amount of your qualifying contributions can affect how much MatBen you may receive.

Instead na manghula tayo sa amount, I recommend using the **Max Maternity Planner**. Makikita mo doon kung anong contribution strategy ang possible based sa remaining qualifying months mo and how it may affect your estimated MatBen.

Useful ito especially dahil malaking tulong ang higher MatBen sa **hospital and delivery expenses**, which can become expensive depending on the hospital and type of delivery.

Hi mommy 😊 **Okay lang po kahit Employee ka dati at Voluntary ka na ngayon.** Hindi nawawala yung previous employer contributions mo.

For **EDD September 2026**, ang **qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026**. So kung may at least **3 valid posted contributions** ka from your previous employer within that period, possible ka pa ring qualified for MatBen.

Since **separated ka na from your employer**, after delivery puwede mong i-file ang claim directly with SSS. If wala kang natanggap na maternity benefit advance from your former employer, SSS may ask for a **Certificate of Separation** or related proof showing your separation date and that no maternity advance was given.

Yung contributions na babayaran mo ngayon as Voluntary **after March 2026** will still help your overall SSS record, pero hindi na sila makakadagdag sa current September 2026 MatBen computation.

Hi mommy 😊 Since **Voluntary member** ka and nakapag-submit ka na ng **MAT-2/Maternity Benefit Application**, if **live childbirth** and complete/acceptable ang documents mo, processing is usually around **7 working days**.

During that period, SSS will review the claim and you should receive an **approval, rejection, or request for additional documents** through My.SSS/email.

If may medical evaluation or special case, processing can take longer—around **20 working days**.

Once approved, the benefit will be sent to your **approved DAEM/disbursement account**, subject to bank processing time.

For **EDD September 2026**, your qualifying period is **April 2025–March 2026**.

For **EDD November 2026**, ang qualifying period mo ay **July 2025–June 2026**.

Based sa sinabi mong may hulog ka from **July 2025 hanggang January 2026**, mayroon kang **7 qualifying contributions ✅**, so lampas ka na sa minimum requirement na 3 months, provided valid at posted lahat sa My.SSS.

After delivery, ikaw na rin ang mag-file ng actual **Maternity Benefit Application** through My.SSS, and once approved, direct sa enrolled disbursement account mo ang payment.

Since **NWS member** ka and ₱750/month ang hulog mo, these months can still be included in your qualifying contributions.

Pero mommy, if meron ka nang **6 qualifying months with higher contributions**, possible na hindi na madagdagan ang current MatBen mo because SSS uses the **6 highest MSCs** for the maternity computation.

Still, **hindi sayang ang additional contributions**. SSS is not only for maternity benefits—continued contributions also help build your record for future benefits such as **retirement/pension and other SSS benefits**.
