Hi mommy 😊 Kung October 2026 ang EDD/actual delivery mo, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Hindi dapat makaapekto ang previous SSS maternity claim mo noong July 18, kasi ang SSS maternity benefit ay allowed every pregnancy/childbirth/miscarriage/ETP, basta qualified ka ulit sa bagong claim.

Sa hulog mo, June 2025 hindi counted kasi outside QP. Counted ang July 2025–February 2026 kung paid at posted on time.

Assuming total contribution ang amounts na binigay mo, estimated benefit mo for 105 days ay around ₱42,583. Kung solo parent 120 days, around ₱48,667. Estimate lang ito mommy; final amount pa rin ay depende sa posted MSC sa SSS.

Hi mommy 😊 Hindi po automatic na “no salary differential” dahil below ₱1,000 ang daily rate. Ang salary differential ay difference ng full pay mo during maternity leave minus SSS maternity benefit. So kung mas mataas ang full pay mo kaysa SSS benefit, may possible salary differential pa rin.

For example, kung around ₱800/day ang daily rate, 105 days = around ₱84,000. Kung SSS benefit mo ay ₱70,000, possible may difference na around ₱14,000 before any adjustment/deductions. Kaya possible na tama ang lumabas sa calculator.

Hindi rin po siya “depende lang sa employer.” Under SSS/Expanded Maternity Leave rules, employed female members should receive full pay made up of SSS maternity benefit + salary differential paid by employer, except kung exempt ang employer like distressed establishment, retail/service with not more than 10 workers, micro-business with assets not more than ₱3M, or may equal/better benefit already.

Since Staff Nurse ka sa private hospital, most likely hindi microbusiness, pero best step mommy is ask HR for a written computation and ask if the hospital is claiming DOLE exemption. Kung walang exemption at may difference talaga, dapat ipa-explain nila clearly bakit zero.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung October 14, 2026 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Kung ₱3,000 total contribution ang hulog mo per month, katumbas ito ng ₱20,000 MSC. Possible ang maximum ₱70,000 for 105 days kung may 6 months na ₱3,000 contribution within the qualifying period, at paid/posting on time. Kung less than 6 months lang, mas mababa po ang estimate.

Kailangan may at least 3 paid at posted contributions within the qualifying period. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs mo.

Counted ang 2025 contributions mo. Hindi na kasama ang January–April 2026 sa computation kasi nasa semester of contingency na sila.

Kung total SSS contribution ang amounts na binigay mo, estimated maternity benefit mo for normal/CS 105 days ay around ₱44,625.

Pero kung employee share/deduction lang ang amounts na yan, possible mas mataas ang estimate at maaaring umabot sa max depende sa actual MSC posted sa SSS.

Yes mommy, pwede ka pang maghulog for July, August, and September 2026 kasi kasama pa sila sa qualifying period. Basta paid at posted on time, puwede silang makatulong sa qualification and computation.

Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period. Ang exact amount naman ay depende sa 6 highest MSCs mo.

Yes mommy, abot pa ang April, May, and June 2026 kasi kasama sila sa qualifying period. Kung Self-Employed, Voluntary, or NWS ka, bayaran sila using valid PRN at dapat paid/posting on time. Kailangan may at least 3 paid at posted contributions within the qualifying period. Pwede mo parin ma pay ang July to Sept generate ka lang 1PRN for Quarter payment ang pay on or before end of Sept.

Hindi pa masasabi ang exact amount kasi depende sa monthly contribution/MSC mo. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs within the qualifying period.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung June ang EDD/actual delivery, ang qualifying period usually ay January–December of the previous year.

Possible reason bakit ₱22,750 lang ang nakuha: baka hindi lahat ng hulog na nabanggit mo ay counted sa qualifying period, or may months na late/not posted, or iba ang MSC na ginamit ni SSS. Ang MatBen po kasi hindi based sa total hulog, kundi sa 6 highest MSCs within the qualifying period.

Kung ang Oct–Dec ₱3,000 voluntary mo lang ang valid/countable, dapat ipa-check sa SSS kung bakit ₱22,750 ang naging computation. Pwede kang mag-request ng breakdown ng maternity computation sa SSS para makita kung anong months at MSC ang ginamit.

Since Self-Employed ka at wala ka pang nahulog, yes mommy, possible ka pang ma-qualified kung mababayaran mo ang April, May, and June 2026 (due on or before end of July) gamit ang valid PRN at posted on time. Kasama ang April–June sa qualifying period, at sakto sila sa minimum na 3 paid at posted contributions. Pwede mo pa rin ma pay ang July to Sept generate ka lang 1PRN for Quarter Payment, due on or before end of the September.

Kung Voluntary ka at nagstart ka lang ng April–June 2026 with ₱750 monthly, possible kang qualified basta paid at posted on time ang 3 months na iyon. Pero hindi po aabot ng ₱70,000.

If ₱750 total contribution ito, around ₱8,750 ang estimate for normal/CS 105 days. Mas mataas lang kung mas mataas ang MSC/contribution mo within the qualifying period.
