Hi mommy 😊 For EDD September 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025 to March 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit.

Kung talagang zero ang contributions mo from April 2025–March 2026, unfortunately hindi na makakatulong ang bagong hulog ngayon para sa September 2026 maternity benefit, dahil ang April–September 2026 ay nasa Semester of Contingency na at excluded sa computation.

Pero dahil Employee member ka, mommy, check muna ang My.SSS contribution history. Kung employed ka during April 2025–March 2026 pero hindi lang na-remit/post ng employer ang contributions, kausapin ang HR/employer. Employers can still be required to remit delinquent contributions with penalties, unlike Voluntary/Self-Employed members na hindi puwedeng basta mag-retroactive payment.

Last QP month: March 2026. Hindi po applicable sa Employee ang personal rule na “maghulog on or before end of March 2026,” dahil employer ang responsible sa remittance.

Kung zero talaga ang qualifying contributions, ₱0 po ang computable SSS maternity benefit for this pregnancy. Pero kung may employer contributions pala na hindi pa posted, puwedeng magbago ang result once corrected.

Hi mommy 😊 Possible po na tumaas both ang SSS maternity benefit at salary differential, pero magkaiba po ang effect nila.

Kung naging ₱30,000 ang monthly salary starting May 2026, kailangan muna nating check kung ang May 2026 ay kasama sa 12-month qualifying period mo.

For the SSS maternity benefit, kung pasok ang May 2026 sa qualifying period, puwede siyang makatulong kung kabilang siya sa 6 highest Monthly Salary Credits mo. Pero may ceiling ang MSC na ginagamit sa maternity computation, kaya hindi automatic na buong ₱30,000 salary ang magiging basis.

For the salary differential, mas malaking salary usually means mas mataas din ang possible salary differential, dahil kino-compare ang full salary during maternity leave sa SSS maternity benefit na matatanggap mo.

So halimbawa, kung dati ₱20,000 ang salary mo at naging ₱30,000 starting May 2026, maaaring hindi na gaanong tumaas ang SSS maternity benefit once maabot mo ang maternity MSC ceiling, pero puwedeng mas malaki ang salary differential na sagutin ng employer.

Send mo lang mommy ang EDD mo + salary before May 2026, then makikita natin exactly kung pasok ang May increase sa qualifying period at kung magkano ang possible effect sa maternity benefit at salary differential.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung EDD January 2027 po, ang 12-month qualifying period ninyo ay October 2025–September 2026.

So kung ang ibig sabihin ninyo ay February 2026 contribution, yes po, counted siya ✅ dahil pasok siya sa qualifying period.

Pero kung February 2027 contribution ang tinutukoy ninyo, hindi na po siya counted para sa January 2027 maternity benefit dahil nasa Semester of Contingency na iyon. SSS does not include contributions paid within or after the semester of contingency.

Mommy, for EDD January 2027, ang qualifying period mo is October 2025 to September 2026.

Kung Voluntary member ka, pwede pa ang July 2026 kung makakagawa ka pa ng PRN and mababayaran on or before end of August 2026. Pwede rin bayaran ang August 2026 on time.

Pero pinaka-safe mommy: bayaran ang July, August, and September 2026 on or before end of September 2026, kasi October 2026 starts your semester of contingency. SSS says only contributions paid before the semester of contingency are considered for maternity benefit.

Since marami ka na ring hulog from October 2025 to May 2026, may chance ka na po. Ang June 2026 kung missed at past due na, usually hindi na mahuhulugan as late payment, unless available pa sa PRN system. For Voluntary members, payment deadline is the last day of the month following the applicable month or quarter.

Mommy, for EDD February 2027, ang qualifying period mo is October 2025 to September 2026.

Kung may hulog ka from October 2025 to May 2026, pasok po iyon sa qualifying period, so may chance ka pong qualified as long as posted and valid ang hulog mo.

About MAT-1, since resigned ka na nung July 2026, usually ikaw na po ang mag-file directly sa SSS/My.SSS as separated or voluntary member. Ang HR lang po usually ang magpa-file kung employed ka pa or kung na-submit na nila before ka nag-resign. SSS says employed members notify through employer, while voluntary/separated members notify SSS directly.

Simple answer:
Hindi na po usually HR ang magpapasa kung resigned ka na. File ka na po mismo ng MAT-1 sa My.SSS, then keep your resignation/separation documents in case hingin sa filing.

Mommy, kung complete ang hulog mo, ang makukuha mo depends sa 6 highest Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) mo sa qualifying period. Hindi po siya fixed amount for everyone.

Usually ang max possible benefit ay:

₱70,000 — normal or CS delivery, 105 days leave
₱80,000 — solo parent, 120 days leave
₱40,000 — miscarriage/ETP, 60 days leave

SSS maternity benefit is based on 100% of average daily salary credit, multiplied by the covered days: 105 days for live childbirth, 120 days for solo parent, and 60 days for miscarriage/ETP.

Mommy, for EDD August 2026, ang qualifying period mo is April 2025 to March 2026.

So sa hulog mong January 2026 to June 2026:

Counted: January, February, March 2026
Not counted: April, May, June 2026 — kasi nasa semester of contingency na po ito.

Kung valid, posted, and paid on time ang January–March 2026, may chance ka pong qualified kasi may 3 contributions ka sa qualifying period. SSS requires at least 3 contributions before the semester of childbirth.

Pero sa ₱70,000, likely hindi po full ₱70,000 ang makukuha, kasi 3 months lang ang counted. Para sa max ₱70,000, usually kailangan mataas ang 6 counted months sa qualifying period.

Possible estimate kung max MSC ang Jan–Mar: around ₱35,000 for 105 days, not ₱70,000.

Mommy, for EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo is:

July 2025 to June 2026

So July 2026 and August 2026 hindi na po pasok sa qualifying period. Nasa semester of contingency na po sila, kaya hindi na sila counted for December 2026 maternity benefit. SSS says kailangan may at least 3 posted contributions within the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth, and contributions within/after the semester are not considered sa benefit computation.

Since wala kang paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period, possible po na hindi ka qualified for this maternity claim.

You can still pay July/August 2026 for future SSS benefits, pero hindi na po siya makakatulong para maka-qualify sa EDD December 2026.

Mommy, for EDD August 2026, ang qualifying period mo is April 2025 to March 2026.

So ang January, February, and March 2026 lang ang pasok sa qualifying period. Ang April, May, and June 2026 ay hindi na counted for this August 2026 maternity claim kasi nasa semester of contingency na po. SSS says contributions paid within or after the semester of contingency are not considered in the benefit computation.

So possible answer:

Qualified ka po if valid, paid on time, and posted ang January–March 2026 contributions mo. Since may 3 months ka sa qualifying period, may chance ka po.

Pero for ₱70,000, likely hindi po full ₱70,000 kung Jan–Mar 2026 lang ang valid months mo. Usually kailangan ng 6 highest MSC sa qualifying period para maabot ang maximum. Since 3 months lang ang counted, possible estimate is around half of ₱70,000, depending sa MSC/contribution amount mo.

Important din mommy: as Voluntary member, dapat nakapag-submit ka ng Maternity Notification / MAT-1 directly to SSS through My.SSS, SSS Mobile App, or SSS terminal.

Mommy, kung April 2027 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo is January 2026 to December 2026.

Kung last hulog mo pa ay 2024, wala ka pang valid hulog sa qualifying period. Kailangan mo ng at least 3 hulog within 2026 para maka-qualify sa maternity benefit. SSS requires at least 3 contributions in the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth.

Since August 2026 pa ngayon, may chance ka pa po. Pwede kang maghulog as Voluntary member for remaining 2026 months, basta mabayaran on time.

Simple answer:
Yes mommy, pwede ka pa maghulog. Aim for at least 3 months within 2026, pero kung kaya, 6 months para mas better ang possible benefit.
