Hi Mommy, kung Mat1 po yes po pwede ka mag file Habang pregnant pa, ang kailangan mo munang gawin ay Maternity Notification (MAT-1) through your My.SSS account or SSS Mobile App. For Voluntary members, puwedeng direktang mag-submit ng maternity notification sa SSS.

After delivery ka pa magfa-file ng actual Maternity Benefit Application (MBA) para ma-claim ang benefit, together with the required birth/medical documents.

So yes mommy,ang priority mo ngayon ay:

File your Maternity Notification if hindi pa filed.
Make sure may at least 3 valid qualifying contributions within your qualifying months
After delivery, saka mo i-file ang Maternity Benefit Application.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes po, may chance pa kayong maka-qualify for EDD April 2027, pero kailangan magsimula na kayong maghulog sa months na puwede pang bayaran.

Ang 12-month qualifying period mo ay January–December 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 monthly contributions within this period, at SSS will only consider contributions paid before January 2027, dahil January–June 2027 na ang Semester of Contingency mo.

Since wala kang nabayaran from January–August 2026, hindi na puwedeng habulin ang January–June dahil past due na. Pero July, August at September 2026 ✅ maaari pa, dahil Voluntary members may pay monthly or quarterly, at ang July–September quarter ay payable on or before end of October 2026. Late retroactive payments after the deadline are not allowed.

For qualification only, the minimum Voluntary contribution is ₱750/month based on the ₱5,000 MSC. So paying at least July, August and September can give you the required 3 qualifying months.

Pero mommy, ₱750/month will qualify you but will give a relatively small MatBen. If those are your only 3 contributions, estimated 105-day maternity benefit would be around ₱8,750.

If your goal is closer to the maximum ₱70,000, you generally need 6 qualifying months at ₱20,000 MSC, equivalent to ₱3,000/month as a Voluntary member. So July–December 2026 at ₱3,000/month could potentially give the maximum, provided your SSS record allows that MSC and all six months are paid before January 2027. SSS allows VM members to pay contributions in advance.

For EDD April 2027, ang 12-month qualifying period mo ay January–December 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 monthly contributions within this period.

Since may posted contributions ka na for April, May at June 2026 ✅, naabot mo na ang minimum 3 qualifying contributions, provided valid at properly posted ang payments. Yung July 2026 ✅ pasok din sa qualifying period.

Kung hindi pa talaga paid ang July, puwede pa po itong bayaran ngayon as Voluntary member. For quarterly payment, July–September may be paid on or before end of October 2026. Late retroactive payments after the applicable deadline are not allowed.

Also mommy, January 2027 na ang start ng Semester of Contingency, kaya contributions for this maternity claim must be paid before January 2027.

So yes po, may qualification ka na based on April–June, and continuing your contributions can still help increase the possible benefit if they become part of your 6 highest MSC months.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD October 2026, ang 12-month qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa SSS maternity benefit.

Yung contributions mo na February–December 2023 ❌ hindi na counted, dahil outside na sila sa qualifying period ng October 2026 EDD.

So kung 2023 lang talaga ang last contributions mo at wala kang hulog from July 2025–June 2026, unfortunately hindi ka qualified for this maternity benefit based on the minimum contribution requirement.

Since may hulog ka from September 2025 to June 2026, lahat ng ito ay pasok sa qualifying period:

September 2025–June 2026 ✅ = 10 qualifying months

So based sa contribution months na sinabi mo, pasok ka na sa minimum 3-contribution requirement, provided valid at posted ang mga hulog mo.

Ang July 2026 onward ❌ hindi na kasama sa computation for October 2026 EDD dahil nasa Semester of Contingency na.

January–June 2026 ✅ counted — 6 qualifying months na po ito.
July–October 2026 ❌ hindi na counted sa maternity computation dahil nasa Semester of Contingency na.

So mommy, yes, may enough qualifying contributions ka na. Ang exact amount ng MatBen mo naman ay depende sa 6 highest MSCs mo within July 2025–June 2026.

Kaya counted ang employer contributions mo na March–June 2026 ✅ at Voluntary contributions mo na July–September 2026 ✅. SSS uses the 6 highest MSCs within this qualifying period to compute your maternity benefit.

Since ₱3,000/month ang Voluntary contribution mo for July, August, and September, that corresponds to a ₱20,000 MSC, which is also the maximum MSC currently considered for regular SSS benefit computation.

So yes mommy, possible ang ₱70,000 MatBen, pero kailangan magkaroon ka ng at least 6 qualifying months with ₱20,000 MSC.

You already potentially have:

July 2026 — ₱20,000 MSC ✅
August 2026 — ₱20,000 MSC ✅
September 2026 — ₱20,000 MSC ✅

Kailangan therefore na at least 3 months from your March–June employer contributions ay nasa ₱20,000 MSC din(equivalent po eto sa 3,000 contribution per month). Kapag may 6 months × ₱20,000 MSC, computation is approximately ₱70,000 for 105 days.

⚠️ Important mommy: September 2026 ang last qualifying month mo. Since October 2026 na ang start ng Semester of Contingency, make sure your July–September contributions intended for this pregnancy are paid before October 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 If your Maternity Notification (MAT-1) shows “Submitted – June 2, 2026”, you normally do not have to wait weeks or months for a separate approval.

SSS’s current 2026 Citizens’ Charter shows that online Maternity Notification is processed through the system in minutes, and after successful submission you should receive a transaction number as proof plus an email/MySSS notification.

So if you can already see June 2, 2026 as the submitted date and a transaction/reference number, that is a good sign that your maternity notification was successfully filed. MAT-1 is only the notification; it is not yet the maternity benefit claim/payment approval.

After delivery, that is when the Maternity Benefit Application (MAT-2 equivalent) is filed and SSS evaluates the actual benefit claim.

👉 If your app specifically says “Pending” or shows an error beside the June 2 submission, send me the exact status/message shown and I can tell you what it means.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD February 2027, ang 12-month qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026. Kailangan lang ng at least 3 monthly contributions within this period para maka-qualify sa maternity benefit.

Based sa nilagay mo, mayroon ka nang 10 paid/posted qualifying months:

October 2025–April 2026 ✅
July 2026 ✅
August 2026 ✅
September 2026 ✅

So qualified ka na sa minimum contribution requirement, provided valid at posted ang mga payments mo. 😊

For May and June 2026, pasok sana sila sa qualifying period, pero bilang Voluntary member, ang April–June 2026 contributions were payable on or before end of July 2026. Since August 2026 na ngayon, past due na sila at hindi na puwedeng habulin retroactively under the regular payment schedule.

Hindi mo na rin kailangan ang May at June para lang maka-qualify dahil lampas ka na sa required 3 contributions.

Ang 12-month qualifying period ninyo ay October 2025–September 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 monthly contributions within this period, at dapat paid before the Semester of Contingency starts in October 2026.

Since wala pa kayong paid/posted contributions, these are the important months:

July 2026 ✅
August 2026 ✅
September 2026 ✅

As a Voluntary member, puwede kayong magbayad monthly or quarterly. Since July–September are still within the current quarter, puwede pa silang bayaran. Pero for this March 2027 maternity claim, safest na ma-pay ang July, August at September on or before end of September 2026 (Based on quarterly payment po yan 1PRN isang bagsakan ang bayad), dahil payments made starting October 2026 are already within the Semester of Contingency and won’t be considered for this maternity benefit.

October 2026–March 2027 ❌ hindi na qualifying months for this pregnancy, so hindi sila makakatulong para maabot ang minimum 3 contributions.

So mommy, yes—possible pa kayong maka-qualify if you successfully pay July, August and September 2026 before October begins. Make sure the contributions are properly posted in My.SSS.
