Employee Qualifying Period
Question from Myla
Asked Jul 14, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Hi mommy 😊 Yes, makikita mo po kung magkano ang nahulog mo by checking your My.SSS account or MySSS mobile app under monthly contributions.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: February 2027
Question from Mia
Asked Jul 14, 2026

EDD ko ay Feb 2027. New account ng SSS and maghuhulog palang this July. Possible Qualified parin po ba?

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Yes mommy, possible ka pa ring ma-qualified kahit new SSS account, basta makapaghulog ka ng at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period.

Last QP month: September 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2026.

Voluntary Late Claim / Past Maternity
Question from Pearl
Asked Jul 14, 2026

Pede paba makakuha Ng maternity benefits kahit 3years old na SI baby?and pano makaka kuha Neto if pede pa

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Hi mommy 😊 Yes, possible pa po makakuha kahit 3 years old na si baby, kasi SSS maternity claim may be filed within 10 years from date of delivery.

Pero subject pa rin sa qualification: dapat may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within your qualifying period, at complete ang documents.

How to claim: mag-file ng Maternity Benefit Application / MAT-2 through My.SSS or SSS branch.

Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Yes mommy, April–September 2026 ay kasama sa qualifying period, so puwede silang makatulong sa maternity benefit basta paid at posted on time. Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period.

Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs within the qualifying period.

Employee Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: March 2027
Question from Krezle
Asked Jul 14, 2026

Hi, I just started working when I found out that I was pregnant, my EDD is March 2027. I stopped for more than 6 months, and I was not able to pay for my monthly contribution during those months. How much do I need to pay for me to get the max of maternity benefits? My company is paying premium

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD March 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

To get the maximum ₱70,000, kailangan may 6 months na ₱20,000 MSC within that qualifying period. If you just started working and wala kang hulog for more than 6 months before, hindi na usually puwedeng habulin ang missed months just to reach the maximum. SSS uses the 6 highest MSCs in the qualifying period, and at least 3 paid contributions are required.

If your company pays only July–September 2026 at maximum MSC, possible ka pa ring qualified, pero estimate is around ₱35,000 for 105 days, not ₱70,000. To reach ₱70,000, dapat may 6 valid max-MSC months, not only 3.

Ask HR to make sure your July, August, and September 2026 contributions are paid and posted under the correct salary/MSC.

Last QP month: September 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2026.

Employee Qualifying Period EDD: December 2026
Question from Kharin
Asked Jul 14, 2026

EDD KO PO AY DECEMBER 2026 mag Kani Po ba makukuha ko sa maternity benefits

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Hindi pa po masasabi ang exact amount without your monthly posted contributions or MSC within this period.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

Employee Qualifying Period EDD: November 2026
Question from Jade
Asked Jul 13, 2026

april 2024 to august 2025 ang sss contribution edd november 2026 maka apply ba ng maternity benefits?

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: September 2026
Question from Mary
Asked Jul 13, 2026

September napo Ako manganak

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 14, 2026

Makaka-claim ka pa rin kung may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period. Hindi required na kumpleto lahat ng months.

Last QP month: March 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of March 2026.

Question from Marie
Asked Jul 13, 2026

EDD ko is March,2027 pwede pa ba mag hulog to qualify Maternity benefits

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jul 13, 2026

Kailangan may at least 3 paid at posted contributions within the qualifying period.

Kung Old member ka at no changes sa status member type mo pwede papo hulugan.

For example, kung wala ka pang hulog ng April to June generate ka 1PRN for quarter payment, bayaran mo xa on or before end of July,
then sa July–September 2026 pay mo xa on or before end of Sept.
Kung maka generate ka rin ng Jan 2026 to March 2026 pwede mo din eto pay pero considered late payment na xa, pero might be useful for future benefits po.

Last QP month: September 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of September 2026.
