Mommy, for EDD December 2026, ang qualifying period mo is July 2025 to June 2026.

Pasok sana ang March 2026 sa qualifying period, pero kung hindi siya nabayaran on time, hindi na po siya puwedeng hulugan ngayon as Voluntary member. For VM/SE/NWS, late payments are not allowed, and missed months stay as payment gaps.

Since wala kang paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period, possible na hindi ka qualified for SSS maternity benefit. Kailangan kasi may at least 3 paid contributions before the semester of contingency.

Mommy, yes, kung wala ka na pong trabaho, puwede ka mag-continue as Voluntary member and maghulog for July–September 2026, basta makagawa ka ng PRN as Voluntary and mabayaran on time.

Kung April 2027 ang due date mo, pasok ang July, August, September 2026 sa qualifying period, so makakatulong po sila sa computation.

Pero reminder mommy: hindi automatic na mas mataas agad. Ang benefit ay depende sa 6 highest MSC sa qualifying period, hindi lang sa amount na hulog. Kung ₱3,000/month ang contribution, mataas na bracket na po iyon, so possible makatulong kung valid at posted.

Mommy, kung April 2027 ang due date mo, ang qualifying period mo is January 2026 to December 2026.

Kailangan mo ng at least 3 hulog within 2026 para maka-qualify. Pero kung gusto mong mas mataas ang possible benefit, mas better kung 6 months ang mahulugan mo.

Since August 2026 pa ngayon, may chance ka pa po maghulog. Make sure lang na ang hulog ay for 2026 months and mabayaran on time. Ang last month ng qualifying period is December 2026, due on or before end of January 2027.

Mommy, depende po sa actual date ng miscarriage, hindi na sa original EDD.

For SSS maternity benefit, covered din ang miscarriage, pero kailangan pa rin may at least 3 paid contributions sa 12-month qualifying period before the semester of miscarriage. SSS also says only contributions paid before the semester of contingency are considered.

So kung ang hulog mo ay hindi pasok sa qualifying period, or wala kang at least 3 valid paid months sa qualifying period, possible na wala pong makukuha / ma-deny ang claim.

Important din mommy: kung Voluntary, Self-Employed, or NWS member, hindi puwedeng basta bayaran pabalik ang missed months para lang maka-qualify, kasi SSS says late payments are not allowed and missed months remain as gaps.

Ang dapat gawin:

Kunin ang actual date ng miscarriage.
I-compute ulit ang qualifying period based sa miscarriage date.
Check kung may 3 paid/posted contributions sa loob ng qualifying period.
Kung meron, may chance pa po.
Kung wala, sadly possible na hindi qualified.

For EDD March 2027, ang qualifying period mo is:

October 2025 to September 2026

Since wala ka pang paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period, kailangan mo ng at least 3 paid contributions inside October 2025 to September 2026. SSS requires at least 3 monthly contributions in the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth, and only contributions paid before the semester of contingency are considered.

Since August 2026 pa ngayon, puwede mo pang habulin ang July 2026, August 2026, and September 2026 if makakagawa ka ng PRN and mababayaran on time. For Voluntary members, SSS allows monthly or quarterly payment, with deadline on the last day of the month following the applicable month or quarter.

Pero for maternity claim, mas safe na mabayaran lahat on or before end of September 2026, kasi October 2026 starts your semester of contingency. If sa October 2026 mo pa babayaran, possible na hindi na siya iconsider for March 2027 maternity claim.

So simple answer:

Yes mommy, puwede ka pa maghulog. Try to pay July, August, and September 2026 as Voluntary member on or before end of September 2026 para magkaroon ka ng 3 valid months sa qualifying period.

For EDD March 2027, ang qualifying period mo is:

October 2025 to September 2026

Kailangan po ng at least 3 paid contributions within that qualifying period. Since may October 2025 and November 2025 ka na, 2 months na po iyon. Kailangan mo na lang po ng at least 1 more valid contribution within October 2025 to September 2026.

Since today is August 2026, pwede ka pa pong maghulog for August 2026 and/or September 2026, as long as mabayaran po on time. For Voluntary members, SSS allows SE/VM/NWS payments monthly or quarterly based on the deadline, and the deadline is the last day of the month following the applicable month or quarter. Late voluntary payments are not allowed.

So ang simple answer:

Yes mommy, pwede ka pa pong maghulog.
Para maka-qualify, make sure may at least 3 paid months inside October 2025 to September 2026. Since meron ka nang Oct 2025 and Nov 2025, magbayad ka po ng August 2026 or September 2026 before the deadline para maging 3 months.

Important: Ang October 2026 onwards hindi na po counted for March 2027 maternity claim, kasi nasa semester of contingency na po iyon. SSS requires at least 3 contributions in the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth, and contributions paid within or after the semester of contingency are not considered.

Mommy, for EDD November 2026, ang qualifying period mo is July 2025 to June 2026.

Based sa sinabi mo na wala kang paid/posted contribution sa qualifying period, hindi ka pa eligible for SSS maternity benefit.

Hindi na rin po makakatulong ang August 2026 payment para sa November 2026 maternity claim, kasi ang August 2026 ay nasa semester of contingency na. Sabi ng SSS, kailangan may at least 3 paid contributions within the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth, at contributions paid within or after the semester of contingency are not considered sa maternity benefit computation.

For Voluntary members, hindi rin allowed ang back-payment para punuan ang gaps. SSS says missed VM contribution months are considered gaps, and retroactive payment is not allowed.

So kahit willing kang bayaran ang 6 months delayed before delivery, hindi po iyon magiging basis para maka-qualify sa EDD November 2026 claim.

Pwede mo pa ring bayaran ang current/future months para sa future benefits, pero for this pregnancy, kailangan sana may at least 3 valid paid months from July 2025 to June 2026.

For EDD April 2027, qualifying period mo is January–December 2026. December 2026 ang last qualifying month, pero para mabilang sa maternity benefit, make sure paid na ang contributions on or before end of December 2026, bago magsimula ang semester of contingency.

Yes mommy 😊 For EDD February 2027, qualifying period mo is October 2025–September 2026.

Since Employee ka, employer po ang magre-remit ng contributions. If posted na ang May at July, pwede maging 3rd contribution ang August 2026 once remitted by your employer. Yung missing June, follow up din sa employer—hindi dapat mawala ang benefit rights mo dahil lang sa employer remittance issue.

👉 September 2026 ang last qualifying month, at regular employer due date nito is on or before end of October 2026.

For EDD February 2027, qualifying period mo is October 2025–September 2026. Kailangan at least 3 contributions, so pwede mong targetin ang July, August & September 2026.

👉 September 2026 ang last qualifying month. Para mabilang sa maternity mo, make sure mabayaran ang July–September on or before end of September 2026 dahil payments made within the semester of contingency hindi na counted.
