Kasama sana ang May and June 2026 sa qualifying period. Pero kung ngayong July 2026 mo pa lang babayaran, hindi na po siya counted sa MatBen, kasi July na ang start ng semester of contingency.

Possible ka pa ring qualified kung may at least 3 ibang paid and posted contributions from July 2025–April 2026.

Last QP month: June 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of June 2026.

Sa nabayaran mo na January–August 2026, ang possible counted lang ay January–March 2026, basta paid at posted on time. Hindi na kasama ang April–August 2026 sa MatBen computation.

Kung Voluntary, Self-Employed, or NWS ka, hindi na po puwedeng habulin ngayon ang April–December 2025 kasi lampas na ang payment deadline. Pero kung employed ka during those months, ask HR/SSS kung may employer remittance na hindi pa posted.

Possible kang qualified kung valid, paid, at posted on time ang January–March 2026 dahil may minimum 3 contributions ka na.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD September 2026, ang SSS maternity qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026.

Ang salary differential is not based sa qualifying period. Ang qualifying period is for SSS maternity benefit computation only.

Ang salary differential naman is based sa 105 days maternity leave full pay:
full pay for maternity leave minus SSS maternity benefit = possible salary differential.

Yung bedrest/sick leave mo from April is separate issue. Possible ka pa ring may salary differential kung employed ka pa, hindi exempt ang employer, and maternity leave mo is approved. Pero kung leave without pay or ikaw na nagbabayad ng contributions starting May, best to ask HR for a written computation and clarification kung active employee ka pa ba during maternity leave.

Hi mommy 😊 Depende po sa actual delivery date mo.

Kung current or upcoming pregnancy ang tinatanong mo, ang hulog from October 2013 to 2015 ay usually hindi na counted, kasi ang SSS maternity benefit ay based sa contributions within the 12-month qualifying period before the semester of delivery, hindi sa old total years of hulog.

Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the correct qualifying period. Kung old delivery naman ang claim, maternity claim may be filed within 10 years from date of delivery/miscarriage/ETP.

Pakisend mommy ang EDD or actual delivery date para ma-check kung qualified at kung anong months ang counted.

Yes mommy, possible kang ma-approve basta paid at posted ang contributions mo. Counted ang October–December 2025 kung nabayaran mo noong January 2026 on time, pero yung January–March 2026 kung nabayaran mo noong April 2026 hindi napo counted dapat na pay mo xa on or before end of March bago matapos ang qualifying period mo.

Mukhang may 3 months ka within the qualifying period, so pasok ka sa minimum na at least 3 paid and posted contributions. Ang exact amount naman ay depende sa 6 highest MSCs mo within the qualifying period.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes, may right ka magtanong or magpa-verify sa SSS/DOLE, pero mas okay muna na i-clarify in writing sa HR bago mag-file ng complaint.

Under SSS maternity rules, kung employed ka at complete na ang maternity leave application/requirements, ang employer should advance the maternity benefit within 30 days from filing of maternity leave application. Pero minsan may company process or hinihintay nilang ma-finalize ang delivery details (reason example. if the employee deliver earlier than expected and need to re-calculate the matben), kaya importanteng hingin muna ang written reason bakit hindi pa nila ina-advance.

Pwede mong sabihin sa HR:
“May I request the written basis why my maternity benefit is not yet advanced, and when it will be released?”

Kapag walang malinaw na sagot, or hindi talaga exempt ang company, then pwede ka magpa-assist sa SSS or DOLE para ma-verify ang next step. Huwag muna agad i-accuse; facts and written proof muna mommy.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung January 2027 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

If Voluntary, Self-Employed, or NWS ka and July 2026 na ngayon, hindi na puwedeng habulin ang January–March 2026 kasi past deadline na. Dapat nabayaran iyon on or before end of April 2026 kung quarterly.

For April 2026, puwede pa lang siya kung kasama sa April–June 2026 quarter PRN at mababayaran on or before end of July 2026. Pero kung April-only monthly payment, past deadline na rin iyon.

Focus mommy sa months na puwede pang bayaran on time, like April–June quarter if valid PRN pa, plus July–September 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period.

Yes mommy kung old member ka at no changes sa member status mo for example Voluntary,Self employed or NWS. April–September 2026 pasok pa sa qualifying period, so puwede pa silang makatulong sa maternity benefit basta paid at posted on time.

Since July 2026 pa ngayon, puwede pang bayaran ang April–June 2026 kung makakagawa ka ng valid PRN and mabayaran on or before end of July 2026. For July–September 2026, bayaran din on time.

Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs mo.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes, kung July 2026 pa lang, puwede ka pang mag-update/pay as Voluntary and bayaran ang April–June 2026, basta makagawa ka ng valid PRN at mabayaran siya on or before end of July 2026.

Pero kung lampas na sa July deadline, hindi na po puwedeng habulin as Voluntary payment and magiging gap na siya.

Important din mommy: kung employed ka pa during April–June, dapat employer ang mag-remit noon. Pero kung hindi ka na employed and magtutuloy ka as Voluntary, puwede kang magbayad moving forward using the correct status kung maka generate kapa ng PRN.
