Ang tinitingnan ni SSS ay kung may at least 3 posted contributions ka sa correct qualifying period, at hindi late/retroactive ang bayad. SSS says a member is qualified if she has at least 3 paid contributions in the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth/miscarriage/ETP.

Possible ma-deny lang kung:

kulang sa 3 qualifying contributions
late or hindi counted ang payment
hindi posted sa SSS
hindi na-file ang MAT-1/notification properly

So kung new member ka pero pasok ang hulog sa QP, paid on time, at posted, possible qualified ka pa rin.

So July 2026 payment is not counted na for this maternity benefit. It can help for future SSS benefits, pero hindi siya substitute sa missed April–June 2026.

Ang best gawin: try mo gumawa ng PRN for April–June 2026. If accepted and posted as April, May, June, possible counted pa siya. SSS says maternity counts contributions in the 12 months before the semester of delivery, and self-employed members pay through PRN monthly or quarterly. ₱70,000 — normal delivery or CS, 105 days
₱80,000 — qualified solo parent, 120 days
₱40,000 — miscarriage/ETP, 60 days

SSS maternity is based on the 6 highest MSCs in your qualifying period. The regular SSS maternity computation uses up to ₱20,000 MSC, kaya max is ₱70k for 105 days.

So ang pwede/countable hulugan ay months within July 2025–June 2026 only.

Kung June 2026 pa ngayon at old SSS member ka, ang pinaka-safe na habulin ay April, May, June 2026, basta makagawa ka ng PRN, paid on time, at posted sa SSS.

Yes po, mandated ang salary differential under RA 11210 / Expanded Maternity Leave Law for covered female employees.

Pero kung ang salary mo is ₱20,000/month, possible na wala na or very small na lang ang salary differential. Kasi ang max SSS maternity benefit for 105 days is usually ₱70,000, and ang 3.5 months na salary at ₱20,000/month is also around ₱70,000.

So in simple terms:

Yes, required siya if may difference. Pero kung covered na ng SSS maternity benefit yung full pay mo, possible wala nang additional na babayaran si employer.
And Take note din po may mga companies na exempted from salary differential po, hindi lahat ng companies required to pay differential, kaya Best ask HR or employer if they are included to give salary differential or if they are exempted.

Kung sa My.SSS application status ay nakalagay Submitted, ibig sabihin na-submit na ang MAT-1/Maternity Notification mo. Minsan wala talagang email confirmation, or delayed lang.

Para safe, screenshot mo yung Submitted status, transaction/reference number kung meron, at date submitted. Pag nanganak ka na, saka ka mag-file ng MAT-2 / Maternity Benefit Claim.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung MAT-1 pa lang, usually hindi pa dapat PSA ng baby ang requirement, kasi hindi ka pa nanganak.

Sa MAT-1, ang common proof is pregnancy test signed by doctor/health officer, blood test, or ultrasound. SSS form says Maternity Notification is submitted with proof of pregnancy.

If may red note na PSA, possible na:

MAT-2/claim ang napindot mo, not MAT-1.
May kulang/mismatch sa SSS records mo, like name, civil status, or birth details.
May previous record/document na kailangan i-update.

Try mo muna i-check kung nasa Maternity Notification / MAT-1 ka talaga. If ayaw pa rin, screenshot mo yung red note and ask SSS/branch kung anong PSA exactly ang hinihingi.

October 2025 to September 2026

Yung hulog mo from November 2024 to April 2025 ay hindi na counted sa maternity benefit na ito.

Need mo ng at least 3 posted contributions within Oct 2025–Sept 2026. If voluntary ka, pwede ka pa humabol sa months na accepted pa sa PRN, like April–June 2026 Generate ka 1PRN pay mo xa on or before end of this month (Current month now: June), then continue July–September 2026 if quarterly payment pay on or before end of Sept.. SSS requires at least 3 contributions in the 12-month period before the semester of childbirth.

Due date safe note: last counted month is September 2026, so dapat paid/posted on or before end of September 2026 para safe.
