Hi mommy 😊 Since February 18, 2026 ka actual nanganak, iyon ang susundin ni SSS, hindi na ang March EDD.

Ang qualifying period mo ay October 2024–September 2025. Kung ang hulog mo ay September, October, November, December 2025, ang counted lang ay September 2025. Hindi na counted ang October–December 2025 kasi kasama na sila sa excluded semester of contingency.

So kung ito lang ang hulog mo, hindi pa pasok sa required na at least 3 paid and posted contributions. Pero kung may iba ka pang hulog from October 2024–August 2025, possible pa rin ma-check kung qualified.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung August 6, 2026 ang EDD or actual delivery mo, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026.

Qualified ka pa rin possible kasi buong 2025 ang hulog mo at may January 2026 pa. Ang counted sa MatBen ay April–December 2025 and January 2026, basta paid and posted sila. Hindi na counted ang June and July 2026 sa computation.

Kailangan lang may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs mo para sa computation.

Last QP month: March 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of March 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 Hindi po automatic denied.

Kung February contribution mo ay nabayaran noong March, at March contribution mo ay nabayaran noong April 8, possible pa rin silang valid/on time basta may valid PRN at posted sa SSS. For Voluntary, Self-Employed, or NWS, puwede magbayad monthly or quarterly within the deadline.

Counted pa rin ang company hulog mo from April 2025–January 2026 kung paid and posted, at pasok sa qualifying period mo. Hindi mawawala ang employer contributions kahit nag-resign ka na.

Kung sa My.SSS portal ay Submitted ang MAT-1, usually okay na iyon kahit wala kang email. I-save mo ang screenshot/reference number. Final approval pa rin ay depende sa SSS records at actual EDD/delivery date mo.

Yes mommy, qualified ka possible kung mahuhulugan mo ang July, August, and September 2026 ng ₱3,000 each month, basta paid and posted on time. Pasok ka sa minimum na 3 paid and posted contributions.

Kung ₱3,000 total contribution per month ito, usually katumbas ito ng ₱20,000 MSC. Estimate for normal/CS 105 days is around ₱35,000 if 3 months lang ang hulog. Hindi pa siya ₱70,000 kasi kailangan ng 6 months na max MSC para ma-reach ang maximum.

Counted ang hulog mo na January, October, November, and December 2025 kung paid and posted on time. Pasok ka sa minimum na 3 paid and posted contributions.

Hindi pa po makukuha ang exact amount kasi kailangan makita ang monthly contribution/MSC mo. Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs within the qualifying period, pero since 4 months lang ang may hulog, yung posted MSC ng 4 months ang magiging basis ng estimate.

Hi mommy 😊 Depende po sa member type at kung lampas na sa deadline at kung kelan po ang EDD mo.

Kung Voluntary or NWS ka, hindi na po usually puwedeng hulugan ang past due/missing months kapag lampas na sa SSS deadline. Considered gap na po iyon.

Pero kung April–June 2026 ang missing months at July 2026 pa ngayon, puwede pa siya kung makagawa ka ng valid PRN and mabayaran on or before end of July 2026 (Kung ang EDD mo ay Jan, Feb or March with no member type changes po). Kung January–March 2026 naman, past due na iyon dahil dapat nabayaran on or before end of April 2026.

For maternity benefit, kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within the qualifying period.

Yes mommy, since July 2026 pa ngayon, possible mo pang bayaran ang April–June 2026 kung makagawa ka ng valid PRN at mabayaran on or before end of July 2026. Then bayaran din ang July–September 2026 on time para may 6 months ka sa qualifying period.

Pero mommy, hindi ₱122,500 ang max SSS maternity benefit. Kahit ₱5,250 ang hulog mo, ang current SSS benefit computation still uses maximum ₱20,000 MSC, so max is usually ₱70,000 for 105 days or ₱80,000 if qualified solo parent. Paying ₱5,250 monthly does not automatically make MatBen ₱122,500. SSS says the maximum MSC considered for benefits is ₱20,000, even though contributions can be based on MSC up to ₱35,000.

Para sa ₱70,000 max, kailangan usually 6 months na ₱20,000 MSC within the qualifying period. That is usually around ₱3,000 total SSS contribution per month, but verify the exact PRN/MSC sa My.SSS.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung employed ka, usually si employer/HR ang mag-aadvance ng SSS maternity benefit. Under SSS, dapat i-advance ng employer ang maternity benefit within 30 days from filing ng maternity leave application, then si employer ang magre-reimburse kay SSS after.

Kung Sept 12, 2026 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026. Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within this period.

Last QP month: March 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of March 2026.

Ask HR mommy kung kailan nila ire-release ang advance payment at anong requirements nila. Usually ang MAT-2/Maternity Benefit Reimbursement ay after delivery na inaasikaso for reimbursement.

Hindi late lahat mommy. Since wala kang 2025 contribution, ang counted mo ay January–June 2026 kung paid and posted lahat.

✅ January–March 2026 paid on April 22, 2026 — possible counted kung valid PRN at posted
✅ April–June 2026 paid on June 30, 2026 — possible counted kasi paid before July/semester of contingency

Kung ₱3,000 total contribution per month ang hulog mo for 6 months, possible ka sa maximum ₱70,000 for 105 days, kasi ₱20,000 MSC na iyon. Final approval and amount pa rin ay depende sa posted records ni SSS.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung December 2026 ka manganak, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Since may hulog ka na July 2025–December 2025, possible qualified ka na kung paid and posted lahat, kasi more than 3 months na iyon. Hindi required na bayaran nang buo ang January–June 2026 para lang maka-claim.

Pero kung gusto mong tumaas ang benefit, makakatulong sana ang January–June kung paid on time at pasok sa rules. If Voluntary ka na ngayon, hindi puwedeng habulin ang past due months kapag lampas na ang deadline. Ang amount naman depends sa chosen MSC/contribution mo, hindi fixed.
