Kung binayaran mo ang January–March 2026 noong April 2, 2026 considered late payment napo dapat na pay po xa on or before end of March bago matapos ang qualifying period mo.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026, at last hulog mo ay September 2025, counted ang April–September 2025 basta paid at posted.

Kung Voluntary, Self-Employed, or NWS ka, hindi na po usually puwedeng magdagdag/habulin ang missing months na October 2025–March 2026 kung lampas na sa deadline. Considered gap na po iyon.

Pero kung employed ka during those missing months, ask HR/SSS kung may employer remittance na hindi pa posted.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung December 2026 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Yung January–March 2026 mo ay counted kung paid at posted on time, so may minimum 3 contributions ka na.

Pero yung April–June 2026, kung July 2026 mo pa lang babayaran, hindi na po siya counted sa MatBen kasi July na ang start ng semester of contingency. Pwede siya ma-post sa SSS record kung valid PRN, pero hindi na siya kasama sa maternity benefit computation.

Possible ka pa ring qualified dahil may Jan–March ka, pero hindi pa masasabi ang exact amount without your monthly contribution/MSC.

Hi mommy 😊 Yes, kasali pa rin po sa computation ang contributions mo noong employed ka, basta paid and posted sila at pasok sa qualifying period ng EDD or actual delivery mo.

Hindi mawawala ang hulog mo from employer kahit Voluntary member ka na ngayon. Ico-combine ni SSS ang valid employed contributions and voluntary contributions within your qualifying period.

Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions, at gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs within the qualifying period.

Kung alam mo na mommy ang EDD or actual delivery date pwede mo po isend dito para ma-check natin kung pasok ang July 2025–January 2026 sa qualifying period mo.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung March 2, 2027 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Kung ang last hulog mo ay 7 years ago, hindi po iyon counted sa current maternity benefit kasi outside na siya sa qualifying period. Kailangan may at least 3 paid and posted contributions within October 2025–September 2026.

Since July 2026 pa ngayon, possible pa rin makahabol kung makakapaghulog ka ng valid months like July–September 2026 on time. Hindi na puwedeng habulin ang old missed months na lampas na ang deadline.

Hi mommy 😊 May chance pa rin kung may at least 3 paid and posted contributions ka within the correct qualifying period.

Kung due date mo ay January 2027 pero December 2026 ka nanganak, ang susundin ni SSS ay actual delivery month na December 2026. So ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025–June 2026.

Kung may at least 3 valid hulog ka within July 2025–June 2026, possible ka pa ring qualified. Pero kung ang hulog mo ay mostly July–September 2026, hindi na sila counted dahil nagbago ang actual delivery month mo.

Hi mommy 😊 Ibig sabihin po, since employer ang nag-submit ng MAT-2 / maternity reimbursement, kailangan mo munang i-confirm sa My.SSS kung nakatanggap ka na ng advance maternity payment from employer.

Kung nabayaran ka na ng employer, i-confirm mo lang based sa totoong natanggap mo. Kung hindi ka pa nakatanggap, huwag mo munang i-confirm na may advance payment — contact HR/SSS muna para ma-correct, kasi proof ito for employer reimbursement.

Usually ganito ang flow: employer advances the maternity benefit, then employer files sa SSS for reimbursement. SSS may require proof of advance payment like signed voucher or proof of bank credit/transfer.

Hi mommy 😊 Since SSS mismo ang nag-email ng ₱25,375, iyon po ang official computation nila. Ang calculator estimate is based lang sa details na na-enter, so possible magkaiba kapag may contribution na hindi counted, late-paid, not posted, or iba ang actual MSC.

Common reasons bakit mas mababa ang SSS amount:

May hulog na paid within or after the semester of contingency kaya hindi counted
Employee share lang pala ang na-enter, hindi total contribution
May months na hindi posted or late payment
Iba ang actual delivery date kaya nagbago ang qualifying period
Lower MSC ang ginamit ni SSS

Pwede mommy mag-request sa SSS ng computation breakdown para makita kung anong months at MSC ang ginamit nila.

Hi mommy 😊 Ibig sabihin po nito, may contribution ka na binayaran within or after the semester of contingency, kaya hindi siya isinama ni SSS sa computation. Kaya nabawasan ang maternity benefit amount.

Example: kung ang delivery mo ay October–December 2026, ang semester of contingency starts July 2026. So kung may qualifying months na binayaran mo lang July 2026 onwards, hindi na sila counted sa MatBen kahit posted pa sila.

Hindi ibig sabihin rejected agad mommy; usually approved pa rin, pero reduced ang amount dahil hindi counted ang late-paid months. Pwede kang mag-request sa SSS ng computation breakdown para makita kung anong months/MSC ang ginamit.
