Voluntary MAT-1 EDD: January 2027
Question from ARBIE
Asked Jun 23, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Yes mommy, meron po 😊

For EDD January 2027, dapat mag-file ka ng SSS Maternity Notification / MAT-1 before ka manganak. Mas safe na mag-file na as soon as confirmed ang pregnancy, huwag hintayin ang January. SSS forms also require the maternity notification to be received prior to delivery/miscarriage/procedure.

For maternity leave application sa work, best magpaalam at least 30 days before your leave, whenever possible.

After manganak, saka naman ang maternity benefit claim / MAT-2.

Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Yes mommy, qualified ka possible 😊
For EDD October 2026, ang qualifying period mo ay July 2025 to June 2026. Since naghulog ka from June 2025, counted ang July 2025 to June 2026 basta posted sa SSS.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: May 2026
Question from Jennifer
Asked Jun 23, 2026

Nag bayad po ako ng 3,000 from july to december 2025. Bakit po kaya mababa ung makukuha ko?

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

For EDD May 2026, ang qualifying period is January–December 2025. If July–December 2025 were all paid/posted correctly at ₱3,000 monthly, dapat possible ang ₱70k for 105 days, because SSS uses the 6 highest MSC and regular SSS maternity computation is based only up to ₱20,000 MSC.

Possible reason bakit naging ₱35k:

3 months lang ang posted/accepted.
Some payments were paid within January–June 2026, so baka hindi counted.
₱3,000 was not posted as monthly July–Dec, or iba ang MSC na lumabas.

Best mommy: check mo sa SSS account yung posted contributions July–Dec 2025, then ask SSS for the maternity computation breakdown/reconsideration.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: January 2027
Question from Maria
Asked Jun 23, 2026

May hulog ako na 3k monthly from March - sept 2026. Magkano makukuha ko?

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Since December 28, 2026 ka nanganak, ang susundin is December 2026 delivery, not January 2027 EDD.
So ang qualifying period mo is July 2025 to June 2026. SSS requires at least 3 paid contributions before the semester of contingency.
Kung ₱3,000 monthly total contribution mo at posted lahat, estimate mo is around:
₱46,667 for 105 days normal/CS delivery.
Kung solo parent, around ₱53,333.

Voluntary Contribution / Payment Deadline EDD: January 2027
Question from Andrea
Asked Jun 22, 2026

Edd kopo January 28. 2027 Wala pako hulog nung April pwede koba hulugan ng 9k ang April to June

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Pwede mong hulugan ang April to June ng ₱9,000 total kung ang ibig mo ay ₱3,000 per month, basta makagawa ka ng PRN for those months and mabayaran before deadline(pay on or before end of June). SSS says self-employed members may pay monthly or quarterly using PRN.

Mas okay bayaran agad para safe mommy. Check mo rin estimate mo dito:

Hindi naman need na sunod-sunod, mommy 😊
Pwede ang Jan, Feb, April, basta pasok sila sa qualifying period, paid on time, at posted sa SSS.

Ang requirement ni SSS is at least 3 monthly contributions within the qualifying period — hindi required na consecutive.

Voluntary Miscarriage / Stillbirth
Question from Lyka
Asked Jun 22, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Hello mommy, yes tama po 😊
Kung October 2024 ang miscarriage mo, ang qualifying period is July 2023 to June 2024. Need at least 3 posted contributions within that period para qualified. SSS says miscarriage/ETP is covered for 60 days if qualified.

For filing, usually kailangan ng:
valid ID, proof of pregnancy like pregnancy test/ultrasound, and medical certificate or medical records showing miscarriage.

Kung employed ka noon, check with HR. Kung voluntary/SE ka, file through My.SSS.

Question from nerissa
Asked Jun 22, 2026

Open direct answer
Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Yes mommy, pwede pa po possible 😊
Kung January 2027 ang EDD mo, ang qualifying period mo is October 2025 to September 2026. So counted ang April at May 2026.

For self-employed, SSS says contributions may be paid monthly or quarterly through PRN. If April to Jun ang i generate mo make sure na ma pay mo xa on or before end of this month (Current month now June)

Answer from SSS Maternity Calculator Team: Answered Jun 23, 2026

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD September 17, 2026, ang qualifying period mo is April 2025 to March 2026.

If maximum ang hulog mo sa 6 highest months, possible up to ₱70,000 for normal/CS delivery.
