Hindi pa po makukuha ang exact maternity benefit based lang sa ₱27,000 total contributions from 2024–2026. Kailangan makita ang monthly posted contributions mo within the qualifying period at malaman kung employee share lang ba iyon o total contribution.

Gagamitin ni SSS ang 6 highest MSCs mo within the qualifying period, at kailangan may at least 3 paid at posted contributions.

Last QP month: March 2026 — qualifying payments should be made on or before end of March 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung August 2026 ang actual delivery, ang qualifying period mo ay April 2025–March 2026. Kasama ang January–March 2026, pero hindi na kasama ang April 2026. Kailangan ng at least 3 paid at posted contributions, at ang 6 highest MSC ang gagamitin sa computation.

Kung may SSS email na successfully submitted ang MAT-1 at may reference number, usually hindi na kailangang i-resubmit dahil lang late na-post ang contributions. I-save ang email at screenshot, then ipa-verify muna sa SSS kung bakit hindi makita sa employer portal bago mag-submit ulit para maiwasan ang duplicate.

Late ang June 2026 remittance para sa January–March, pero bilang employee, hindi dapat mawala agad ang entitlement mo dahil sa delay ng employer. Siguraduhin lang na posted na ang contributions at ipa-verify sa SSS.

Last QP month: March 2026 — employer remittance for March should normally be made on or before end of April 2026.

Pakicheck din mommy kung April 22, 2026 ang notification date; kung April 22, 2025 talaga, ipa-verify sa SSS.

Hi mommy 😊 Possible ka pa ring makatanggap ng maternity benefit. Ang MAT-1 ay maternity notification lang, hindi pa maternity claim. Dahil may screenshot/reference ka na dating reflected sa SSS, itago mo iyon at i-check sa My.SSS website ang Maternity Notification Details. Kapag wala pa rin, ipa-verify muna sa SSS Hotline 1455 bago mag-submit ulit para maiwasan ang duplicate.

Dahil laid off/separated ka na, ikaw na po ang magfa-file ng Maternity Benefit Application sa My.SSS pagkatapos manganak. Maaaring hingin ang Certificate of Separation na may separation date at nakasaad na wala kang natanggap na advance maternity payment, lalo na kung nanganak ka within 6 months mula sa separation.

Subject pa rin po sa qualification at approval ng SSS. Para makuha ang exact qualifying period at payment deadline, kailangan ang EDD o actual delivery date.

Hi mommy 😊 Kung June 28, 2026 ang actual delivery mo, ang qualifying period mo po ay January–December 2025.

Ang October–December 2025 lang ang kasama. Hindi na kasama ang January–March 2026. Qualified ka sa minimum na 3 contributions kung paid at posted na ang October–December bago nagsimula ang January 2026.

Hi mommy 😊 May 7-day paternity leave with pay po para sa qualified married at employed na father sa unang apat na panganganak ng legal wife. Employer po ang nagbibigay nito, hindi cash benefit mula sa SSS. Pwede ring mag-allocate si mommy ng hanggang 7 days mula sa maternity leave niya sa father, married man o hindi, pero mababawas ito sa leave days ni mommy.

Sa MAT-2, online na po ngayon ang Maternity Benefit Application sa My.SSS. Para sa normal o CS delivery, karaniwan ay hindi na kailangan ang lumang MAT-2 paper na pipirmahan ng doctor; registered Certificate of Live Birth at required receipt ang karaniwang ina-upload. Pero kung miscarriage, ETP, ectopic pregnancy, o molar pregnancy, kailangan ang medical documents na pirmado ng doctor.

Hindi na po tataas ang maternity benefit mo mommy kahit taasan ang October–December 2026 contributions.

Para sa February o March 2027 EDD, ang qualifying period ay October 2025–September 2026.

Hi Mommy.Kung Old member ka at no changes sa member type mo at kung Voluntary, Self-Employed, o Non-Working Spouse, puwede pang bayaran ang April–June 2026 on or before end of July 2026.

Para sa February 2027 EDD, ang qualifying period ay Oct 2025 to Sept 2026. Pwede pa rin mahabol ang July to Sept mo generate ka lang ng 1 PRN for that quarter then pay on or before end of Sept.

Hi mommy 😊 For EDD January 2027, ang qualifying period mo ay October 2025–September 2026.

Kung ₱4,200 total contribution monthly from April–September 2026, paid on time at posted lahat, possible ₱70,000 ang MATBEN mo for normal/CS delivery—or ₱80,000 if qualified solo parent. Kahit ₱4,200 ang hulog, hanggang ₱20,000 MSC (equivalent to 3,000 per month contribution) lang ang regular maternity computation, yung sobra na 1,200 mapupunta sa mandatory pension fund mo (good for retirement benefits)

Basta Old member ka Mommy at no changes sa member type mo pwede mo hulugan April to June quarter generate ka lang ng 1PRN pay mo xa on or before end of July, then July to Sept quarter pay mo xa on or before end of Sept.This is for Jan 2027 EDD, if nabago and EDD mo to December mababago din qualifying period mo to July 2025 to June 2026 kung sakali na mabago mommy at April to Sept ngayon mo palang babayaran magiging late payment xa pag naging December EDD ka.

sa second question mo po:
Usually after manganak pa po makukuha ang SSS maternity benefit, kasi kailangan muna ang birth documents for MAT-2 / maternity claim.

Kung employed ka, possible mag-advance si employer before or during leave, depende sa company process.
Kung voluntary/SE/separated, after delivery ka mag-file ng MAT-2 sa My.SSS, then doon pa lang ipaprocess ang payment.
